Considering the chances of winning, it's bad for your bank account.

I just got Red Orchestra 2 for $20

Herr-Berbunch 12-21-11 06:07 PM

The only thing I've got so far, and that has caught my eye that I want, is Hitman: Blood Money. Best metacritic score of the bunch, and I didn't want all of them.:DL

seaniam81 12-22-11 04:37 PM

I just got Batman: Arkham City and all it's DLC for $35. Ok I'm now broke. Merry X-mas to me! :D
It's good I'm off work from now until Jan 3

Spike88 12-22-11 05:18 PM

Anyone want a copy of super meat boy? I won a copy with the event thing.

:haha:

Though I should also point out that you can get the base game today for only $3.95 - and that's a darn good deal :yep:

For the two of you who still don't have IL-2, 1946 is on sale today for $3.39. Best $3.39 you'll ever spend :O:

Cliffs of Dover is also up for $17.

I bought them both! I already had 1946 (actually, I've had all the IL-2 games of that series, FB+AEP+PF and THEN I bought 1946 which includes all of them again), only to buy it all a third time! But my retail copy of 1946 was scratched beyond repair some time ago :shifty:

Anyone knows if the DCG campaign thingy works with the Steam version?

Also, what patch is the Steam version running on? Have they bothered patching that one or is it just 4.00 or whatever it was?

Herr-Berbunch 12-27-11 02:48 PM

Steam usually include the latest patches. :hmmm:

I've just got Far Cry 1 & 2 for £3.somethingorother. Had the first one many moons ago and have only bought it again as I see there are some lovely mods out there for it. None for 2 though as Ubi deem it beyond them to help people by releasing anything to help modders! Sound familiar? Mind you, it never stopped people here... :damn:

Dowly 12-27-11 02:52 PM

Hate these damn sales! Burning so much money. :damn:

Herr-Berbunch 12-27-11 02:58 PM

Not me, I've only bought three things - FC1&2 and Hitman. Fortunately I'm easy to please (and skint!). :D

Egan 12-27-11 04:39 PM

Lets see...the new Batman game (which is awesome, by the way.) Cliffs of Dover, Mount and Blade Warband, Amnesia Dark Descent, X3 Terran Conflict and it's new Albion Prelude expansion pack and Universe Sandbox. Steam is too easy.

There are a couple of others but I'm trying to resist the temptation. The ones I've got, on top of RoF, WiTP, and Combat Mission, will do me all next year, I reckon.

Am I a horrible person for thinking that IL-2 Wings of Prey is a better game than IL-2 Cliffs of Dover? :hmmm:

No, and I'm glad I didn't buy either at full price, in fact WoP was in last years Steam winter sale. :D

My goodness - the usual suspects are playing The Ship! :o Any good, guys?

Yeah I noticed that as well! Isn't that the MP game when you're supposed to kill off someone on a ship without anyone else noticing?

Arclight 12-27-11 10:11 PM

It is. :yep:

Pretty fun, can lead to some awkward and rather hilarious situations.

Basically, you have a target, just like everyone else. Pull out a weapon in view of security or with witnesses around and you'll be detained for a bit and lose cash and items in inventory. Cash is rewarded for kills; amount varies with weapon used, so it pays to snoop around for high rewarding ones or go for high damage for easier kills (usually pay less).

Trick is not getting caught hitting your mark, without getting wacked yourself.

Drewcifer 12-27-11 10:43 PM

So many games... so many deals... I'm flipping between youtube and Steam finding a cheap game I haven't played, looking up a video review, finding a new game, looking up the review...

Nah, I only bought it because it was cheap and I couldn't find my copy of BoB2. Is Wings of Prey on sale too? I might check that one out as well.

Wings of Prey isn't an IL2 title. If Wings of Prey is better though, then I wish I had gotten it over Clod, I've had a rocky start with Clod.
