Meh, it's just for some Radeons that have too "relaxed" fan control. Not really a fault of the chip. Of course there was this one Nvidia driver that disabled fan control completely. :nope:

Still, I prefer Nvidia. For example, my good old 8800GTS outperforms HD5850/5870 in Mafia 2, just because it supports PhysX. (yes, I will be reminding poeple of my cards superiority in this particular case on a regular basis for a while :D)
