Does your new version DBSM include the saying " Torpedoes sind nachgeladen " ????

Does this mod still work with 1.2? Im really looking for a sound mod.

capt-jones 05-16-10 03:29 PM

:salute:hi winklemander are you gonna release a english version of das boat sounds,
i think the german accents sound a lot nicer than the american or english ;) just a thought

Nice mod, but don't forgot about putting readme.txt files in the documentation folder. Helps to avoid conflicts (this mod conflicts with Accurate German Flags, which also didn't use the documentation folder). :DL

It really sucks since I looooove everything else about the mod.

I have the same problem.

Awesome mod. Is there a way to raise the volume on them a bit? The stock sounds sometimes are a lot louder so I keep fooling with my system constantly in order to hear your sounds louder. Then a stock sound comes on and I have to turn the vol. down again. Keep doing this for several hours and u go nutz. I really donīt want to uninstall as they are :yeah:.

replace "MODS\DBSM_Speech_1_0_4\Data\Sound\Submarine Bell.wav" with the "Submarine Bell_old.wav" in the same folder. with this sound the problem has disappeared for me.

The link in the first post (named "New link") is not working: "Error

winkelmander thanks for this great sound mod.
i've read in the previous posts that you have plans on a 1.05 version of this. Are you still planing on it?1.04 has some small glitches.

problem

Just one problem with this mod. Sometimes the crew keep SHOUTING and YELLING things to each other ( because of an alarm) but this continues .... and continues... and continues even after we are 160 meters below the surface and supposed to be using silent running to escape a destroyer. Ruins the feeling of realism. Other wise...its a perfect mod.

working on a new version....

DBSM UPDATE to Version 1.05

DBSM UPDATE to Version 1.05 02.11.2010
After a long time I decieded to go back on working on my sound mod. In the past vew month there have been a lot of work been done by a lot of good mod makers. With mods like the NewUIs_TDC and IRAI ByTheDarkWraith. Also the Enviroment Mod in its last working Version. So the extended Map and so on and so on.
So I've decieded to put up a new working and extended Version for my Sound Mod.

- Completlie reworked sounds start with the engine up the hatches, weapons depthcharges and even the footsteps!!
- New speeches
- New music tracks from SH3 and OST Das Boot
- New gramophone tracks!
- reworked sourround sounds with real new enviroment feeling
- corrected german version sound man (Peilung)
- corrected german version XO (Rohr 1!)

For Links watch the first Post! :salute:

hello winkelmander.
i have a quick question.i am already using migty fine crew mod and i have been using your sounds for my last 3 patrols but i am still not sure about ,sould i install your mod after mfcm or before it?,since it conflicts some .ogg files.(may sound a noobish question but i have zero experience with the moding stuffs:))

thanks again for this great mod,i simply love it!:)

Cheers!:salute:

winkelmander 11-05-10 03:47 AM

It depends on wich sounds do you like most. So you can chose which one you want to install first, the one you intsall last replace the sound from the previous one. But they are still 100% compatible. No feauture will be missed or something like that. Only the sound/speeches might be different.
