lol... yea, you should have seen us in the lolwaffles when we were on a carrier...:rotfl:

I can only imagine.

I just managed to land a zero on an aircraft carrier that had other zeros taking off. I leaped frogged them, only to be ran into by a zero taking off. It killed us both.

lol... put your chocks in... they will go through you...:yep:

TF. I had to look at that post twice. :haha:

Nice carrier landing spike. I have flown mostly corsairs so instead of pulling a straight-in landing, I slowly swoop in so I don't lose sight of the runway (or deck) It's worked so well for me I do it on land too

he... he... umm that h would have helped...:rotfl:

Had me wondering for a while too. :-? :rotfl:

Ya know... I like this keyboard... I realy do... but for some reason... some times I press a key and it dosent work...
(I often type in www.subsim.co which dosent work...

Arclight 09-05-09 01:32 AM

Sure, blame it on the board. :haha:

I know what you mean though; got the cheapest MS board I could find, and sometimes it just offers resistance to a press, when you don't press straight down on a key.

I have several boards lying around with those big ol' plugs, before PS/2, and some really old PS/2 boards too. All of them are more comfortable to type on than this cheap MS pos. :shifty:

They don't make 'm like they used to. :D

Task Force 09-05-09 01:34 AM

nope... they dont... I use to have anouther keyboard... but it had a encounter with the drink kind... lol

Arclight 09-05-09 02:01 AM

I always wonder what the point is of those drainage channels. Sure, they remove the wet, but they leave the sticky. :haha:

Most of mine meet the end of their lifespan in an encounter with gravity. :nope:

*or an encounter with my brother, don't ask me how he manages it. :-?

I sometimes miss them heavy keys and that particular sound when your typing, they where quiet heavy too.

Hm, that classic deep, heavy "TAP!", as compared to that modern cheap, plasticy "tic". :yep:

And heavy is good, keeps them in place... unless they fall on your toes, then a lighter board is preferable. :hmmm:

I have a standard dell keyboard thats quite good.
Its fallen on the floor like 6 times, because the keyboard tray on my table is broken and keeps dropping my keyboard and mouse.

Somehow I'm better at carrier landings than regular ground landings. :haha:
Every carrier landing try I've attempted has worked, besides the one where I had to fly back around because I missed the cable. But when it comes to ground landings, I always seem to crash, unless I'm flying the He-111.
