Few new weapon sounds, Garand, Nagant, new MG34, MG42, MP40 might have missed some. New grenade explosion sound and changed the explosion sounds for the 105mm & 150mm impacts. I think the Springfield sound is new too, cant remember.

This also includes the old sounds from the first version, just drop the samples folder to ToW main as last time.

Yayyy! Good news! I've been tinkering with the weapon skins and it seems they can be made higher resolution!

That looks awesome. I wonder why you can have weapons in high res but not uniforms?

Argh, Mediafire is down.

Hey, Dowser, do you know how to replace the music in the game?

No mate. :-? The music folder only has music.ini, didnt see any sound files.

stabiz 02-16-08 09:34 PM

 Was hoping to put some selected OST in there. Oh well.

BTW, enjoying the Allied campaign at the moment. Man, its much better to command the Tigers and Panthers than to meet them on the battlefield.

Righto... skinning in this game is pain in the butt! :nope:

stabiz 02-17-08 10:07 AM

:rotfl:I guess its a hard game overall.

Dowly 02-17-08 10:59 AM

Aye, I refuse to play it anymore till I can figure out the skinning part. I know what the problem is, but I need to go by trial & error to get it right. Stupid thing. :nope: I mean, how hard can it be to make the soldier's UV map so the parts are what they look like! The upper body consists of two parts: the front+right side and the back+left side. Ok, now I made changed the skin on the back of the uniform, positioned it to the center of the back. Then went to the game to check it out, and it was nowhere near the center of the back. I just dont get it. :nope:

Tried the demo. Was like watching a slide show.

stabiz 02-17-08 02:09 PM

The old or the new demo? The old demo was a slide show for me, and it helps to choose "use only one core" for some who have dual core cpu. (For me its no difference)
