Better look at a drawing than at a schedule  :D BTW: What else don't you like ? The highly detailed 3D models ? The awesome particle effects ? The beautiful enviromental lightings ? ;) |
With sh3 i sometimes get the feeling that i am really at sea.
The waves, sound etc. At night when you look at the stars and around you you feel really lonely. With shiv i dont get that feeling. |

http://isaf.us/gwx/ Download the 5 bin files + gwx.exe After you have installed this download also gwx103.exe. That`s a patch on gwx. You will never look back at the stock sh3. |

Did he have twisted ideas about race/religion...most definitely. But I wouldn't lay all the blame at his feet. The Allies from WW1 deserve a good deal of the blame for causing WW2. If they had done like the Allies of WW2 had done and helped Germany rebuild instead of trying to punish it by driving it into bankruptcy with those idiotic "war reparations", the war in Europe might never have happened. And I'm still holding off on buying SH4 until the price drops  Dep |
The problem with the Soviet front is that Hitler was obsessed with Stalingrad. If he had just encircled Stalingrad and left it to starve like Leningrad he would have been ok. Once Moscow had been taken the Soviets would have been more or less knocked out of the war. IIRC Army group centre was only about 30miles from the gates of Moscow? At the start of the war Hitler was a very clever man, but by the time Stalingrad came around he was a complete loony and hooked on god knows how many drugs. This ultimately led him to making disasterous decisions towards the end of the war. Its like if the generals had sent down the panzer division waiting north of the normany beach heads the invasion would have failed and the allies pushed back into the sea, but the generals didn't order the panzers to move because they were afraid Hitler might order them shot or something, especially after Rommel and other top ranking generals were pushed aside or accused of treason etc.

He had many people around him who made important decisions and he just gave the general orders, following their advices. In fact, there are known a few occasions when Hitler made decisions all by himself which ended up in a disaster. And don't remember yet, it's a while ago since I read that. They were minor things, I don't mean the invasion of russia (for example). |

As to the Normandy beachhead...no way those Panzer divisions could have made one bit of difference. First of all, the Allies had complete air superiority, so moving them during daylight was impossible. Plus consider the size of the force opposing those Panzer divisions. The beachead was far too big and the numbers were far to great for the German divisions in France to be able to offer any meaningful resistance. As for Rommel...he WAS treasonous because he supported the attempt on Hitler's life. |
