Cobalt, I have replaced the textures that you used for the release of this excellent mod with the default GWX ones. The mods works fine with these new textures added and I would like to know if you would consider adding this version to your d/l links. I for one would like the VIIC/41 in a default skin.

I will obviously respect your decision, it's your mod.

If you guys would like any other skins, just delete or move the textures folder. Its gonna look funny if you don't change tex.tga though, because that is the skin for the canisters and its awfully dark like the deck. I see penelope, that you and your brother didnt like the skin too much, I wasnt too sure on it at first either but I grew to like it a lot. In my opinion it looks just like a typical late war boat, with the paint chipping off on the tower and such. Maybe it will grow on you too ;]. If you wanna change it no problem though, just lighten up the tex.tga in the DAT and it will look normal with the standard skin.

Well we both agree the model looks fantastic Cobalt, its just the dark blue colour we are not keen on, we both came to love the grey. I will be frank, its me that is kicking up most fuss over the colour not him, because well he would play in a U-boat that was yellow and orange if needbe, colours have to be perfect for me.:yep:

So how do I get the VIIC/41 in GWX Grey then? Just don't use the texture folder?

A thing about the conning tower/sail:
Isn't there supposed to be 2 twin 20mm guns on the upper gun deck then either a quadrupple 20mm or a single 37mm cannon on the lower deck.

Now there's only one twin 20mm guns and the upper gun deck is supposed to be larger in VIIC/41 so that it can house 2 twin 20mm guns.

i have GWX and WAC.

il keep the IXB on WAC (it has been succesfull on a patrol and send 35 ships to the oceanbottom:arrgh!: )

and use the VIIC\41 in GWX
