I'm gonna have that comment investigated, I take that as a serious threat, and I'm gonna find out who you are. I'm a commercial pilot, and these days I got a certain amount of security around me 24/7. This is totally unacceptable.

*****Edited*****

Please don't make a comment like that again,
Neal

melnibonian 12-19-06 05:19 PM

Come on now. I'm sure he didn't said it as you making it appear. It was a bad and unacceptable comment. Let's leave it there please. It's not worthy to get people banned, and ruin the forum. Go on just let it drop and MrChris as well will let it. let's all be civil about it

Dowly 12-19-06 05:23 PM

And being an ignorant poohead that doesnt give a frack about how other people here feel is acceptable?

bigboywooly 12-19-06 05:24 PM

Pants 12-19-06 05:27 PM

Tuddley3 12-19-06 05:30 PM

We should take all the help questions out of this one, and start a new one, so the questions can be answered. So, Lock and Load Gizzmoe

Subwolf, Chris, Dowly and some others please ignore eachother and try not to call someone out for a slapfight in a thread that isnt made to hijack!
its not worth to get yourself into trouble with the mods to get your last word.

Tuddley. I didn't see the option of choosing the light mod when loading GWX. But are you referring to the mod "the light Night Mod" to load it into GWX using JSGME. Have you tried that?

I would like to lighten my night vision in GWX. It's not bad, but it could be a little better.

I think the only way so far to have a light night in GWX is to adjust your screen settings. I would suggest you try to change the contrast and the brightness of your screen. It can make a big difference actually. If this doesn't work I would suggest you try to download the latest drivers for your graphics card and play a bit with the settings.

Yes I am talking about the mini mod "Light the night", there is not one included with GWX. No all I have to do is test it out, I have it in JSGME, but haven't enabled it yet. I will do that shortly.

Ooops, the correct name of it is "Marhkimov's LIGHT NIGHT mod". If this thread is closed before I'm done, I'll PM you to let you know the results.

Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year.

Mel, I think that would only be a temporary fix, because you would have to keep adjusting the settings on the monitor everytime you start up SH3, the change them when you exit so evrything else is not Blinding bright.

True. I agree with you on that, but I've suggested this to Rob as a temporary fix. That way he can at least enjoy GWX. If you do manage to make the light mod work though you will make a lot of people happy. In the mean time I'll take it with the Devs and see what they think about it.

Tuddley3 12-19-06 06:23 PM

Thanks Mel

Thanks Mel for what you mentioned about my health problems. Not many people look under a person's name. I'm actually glad I reached 71 now but I now have to take additional medication as I now have a heart problem and have to carry Nitro-glycerin with me whereever I go, so it's now a question as to whether I'll be around for SH4.

Didn't mean to break the thread, but thanks very much everyone for wishing me a happy birthday and a joyess Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I wish the same to everyone of you.
Rob

Okay, Grizz, you should end this thread plese.
