I am playing GW

Thanks

First, NEVER install/make changes when you are not in port.(this is just the safest option)

Secondly, do you use SH3 Commander? Could the blurry scope by caused by the malfunction/sabotage settings?:hmm:

I haven't used the malfunction/sabotage settings in SH3 Commander. Most probably the error occured as I did the installation while I was at sea:oops: . I'll check it again. Thank you all anyway for the suggestions:up:

They are active by default. You can turn them off by editing the cfg files(see SH3C readme)

Oh I had no idea about that. Where can I find them??? As you can see I haven't touched them at all:oops: Now I do feel a bit embarrassed

Edit: OK I got it. I've looked at the readme. Thanks anyway

The cfg files are in the SH3 Commander folder in the programs file. The instructions for changing these values are in the SH3 Readme (same folder). There is also many others in your situation and the solution can be found in the SH3C Sticky Thread..

It's rather long but any question you may have about this great program will have been answered here.

Please remember to ROLL BACK SH3C first.

Stabiz: Remember to set SeaSpeed down from 0.06 to 0.05 in scene_dat.txt. Much better realism!

Ok, before posting the mod:

Summary: I opened the scene_dat.txt file (SHIII/data/cfg) in SH3 mini tweaker. This file should tweak the main Scene.dat file in the data folder. Am i correct?

I change the value in general environment: SeaSpeed 0.6 to 0.5
In folder Wave state 1, i also set the seaspeed value to 0.5
I also did this with the other wavestate folders (2,3 and 4).

Is this correct?

The mod would then look like this:
SHIII Realistic waves/data/scene.dat

Feedback, please...?

THE_MASK 10-28-06 05:56 PM

In the scene dat there is also a heading <sea foam> . Someone might like to try to adjust these figures .

Tikigod 10-28-06 10:06 PM

holy @#$! this is a cool mod.....the pictures definately don't do justice....I've had both calm and rough seas using this mod and the water looks amazing as it moves with this green like seawash layer.....the color definately adds depth and makes the sea alot more realistic...

only thing is 3-d waves is kinda a weird name for it....because the waves are already 3-d and I was kinda confused to what this mod actually did....

but, good work....definately will enjoy this for patrols to come.
