that is the place for the gun turret, since the original skin was for IL2+FB+AEP+PF+PE2 it has it there ... im working on a skin for it from scratch

I figured out what it is that's been bothering me: the cockpit. It's much narrower on the model, but on the real thing the cockpit is the same width as the rest of the fuselage. Also, the one on the model is much rounder than the original. Look at the picture of the crashed one at the bottom of the page.
