It is my belief that Germany had the most advanced military and that practically all other countries toke their ideas from there on. May it be in submarines warfare, aircraft technology, tanks (mobile warfare), infantry weapons and equipment, etc. Except for the A-Bomb.

Disagree ? tell me why.
Explain to me why the Tiger tank only got 3 gallons to the mile, and why Germany's heavy bomber was used as a anti-ship weapon and not bombing cities?

Besides, we went toe to toe with them and they lost the Atlantic, in turn they lost the war. Put simply, we out produced them faster than they could sink em.

Hey Shegeek...the girl on your sig looks like the lead singer to the Horrorpops.

The weapons themselves were great but its the leaders fault for not useing them for what they were intended to do.

Example: Tiger tank in Open field = Good
Tiger tank in Urban area = Bad
U-boat in deep water = Good (most of the time)
U-boat in shallow water = Bad (Most of the time)

Well I think Ringo wrote that song and he's hanging around with a blue steam train, so why not?

Ringo sang 'Yellow Submarine, but either John or Paul wrote it. It's hard to tell since they credited all their songs with "Lennon and McCartney", and usually you can tell which just from who sings it.

One thing the Germans really stank at was a concentrated and accurate artillery system. They had the frightening Moaning Minnies (Nebelwerfers) but they lacked a truly excllent system of organizing their artillery to deliver the powerful barrages which were a big part in why the Brits and Canadians were capable of holding the Germans off during the stalemate around Caen. They had the armour but we had such good artillery that when some prisoners were captured and brought back near an artillery regiment they asked to see the full-automatic supergun we were using. They refused to believe that we just had excellently trained crews and a very efficient means of bringing down concentrated artillery barrages from any all and all regiments at will.

So there's another one for the good guys.
