U-boat sim is not active anymore. Can somebody mirror the beta file so we can test it? Perhaps, rapidshares.

Im a dolt! I left the files at work...

I will pop in there today and upload them to rapid share... in the meantime I have an "unpolished" release version (only differnce being that the program has no pretty back ground picture.)

Ill send that one to rapidshare...

Okay, just uploaded to rapidshare, the only difference between this release and the one that will be done on Monday, is the lack of a background image.

I have a problem with this mod :cry:

I copied exe to the sh3 folder run it, got message that mis files was updated and... the weather at patrol start is still the same.

I run it in the way decribed in readme so I don't know what's wrong.

I use sh3 1.4, rub 1.45 and sh3 commander 2.4

Anyone knows whats goin on ????

I can´t get it to work either. I´m using it with v1.4b and SH3Commander 2.4 :(

Let me look into the code tomorrow. What weather are you getting at the start of your patrol?

The code is "stunted" to prevent weather from reaching above 8 knots. What are your findings after the initial start of your patrol? what month did you select? Were you in the mediterranean?

What was the windspeed and wind direction for each start of the patrol?

Ill double check the code tomorrow.

If you got the message, then the right files were adjusted, if not, then the message can not appear, you would get an error instead.

Ill post in further detail tomorrow.

I start patrol at 1 Jan 1940. Before that used random weather option in generator, set patrol month January, mediterrean was unchecked.

When patrol start I have clear sky, none parcipitations, none fog, wind 5m/s dir 131. I also started a couple of patrols in the same options and time and weather was the same in one difference of wind direction.

I tried user definied weather option too. I set wind dir N, speed calm, clouds partial, none rain and none fog and got the same weather as described above.

as mentioned above everything in generator was ok, files were updated but in game wather is perfect :-?

I´m in Whilhemshaven in 1939. Clouds, clear. Precipitation None. Wind 5m/s direction 137. I selected random wheather (January). Hope it helps.

I'm having the same problem described above. In my case I started in June 1943. Clouds, clear. Precipitation, None. Fog none, Wind 5m/s but I didn't note the direction. I followed the directions, checked June, no check on Med, and got the message. I then launched the game using SH3 Commander.

Gah! I put the wrong one up.... sorry guys..... Ill have the proper one uploaded tomorrow.
