Sorry, hard to say with my english :-) but I have a question,
it is working with campaign automatically ?
If not, is there something to do ?
Your newest Medditeranean fix is included ?

Sorry, I have no time to read all posts, propably stupid questions.

Best Regards and Fette beute :-)

Stary: this always works in sh 3: Multiplayer, single mission, capaign

But, like most mods that affect certain SH3 files, only install it when you're docked back at base and not in the middle of a career patrol!

Thank You very much.

I thought about this problem, describe by Marhkimov:

"However, I must stress that it is a VERY MINOR problem, indeed. If you begin in the Med and sail out into the Atlantic, you will still see Med seawater, and vice versa. Which is no big deal, since you should NEVER leave the Mediterranean if you are in the 29th flotilla... And similarly, you should NEVER enter the Mediterranean if you are based in the Atlantic."

So........

Yeah, I think you are right Avon Lady... *sigh*

More tweeking... :dead: :dead: :dead:

Not so true.
Despite a high deeps areas in Mar ionio (Matapan abiss - 5092 mteters between south Italy and Greek islands) and the middle of the Tirrenian (-3000 meters in center of Med) the mediterranean have a middle deep around 1000 meters.
Note that the most part of the U Boat action was conducted in the Sicialian channel (between Sicilia and North Africa, around the strategical base of Malta) where the max deep is around 300 meters with minimum level of 20/40 meters in front of the Egypt, Libya and Tunisia shoreline (where most of the convoy was attacked) Even the gibraltar straits have a max deep of 300 mt.
Btw. the greenish aspect of med even in the middle deep areas is due to the great amount of Posidonia a sea plant that live only in the med and grow in form of a real and very extended green.
So we can stat that the blue deep area represent a very minor aspect of the Mediterranean palette.

Oh, thank you Scirè. I guess we learn something everyday... :)

So Scirè, you're a frogman, right?

Hehe, I know...

The funny thing is, I downloaded IUB1.02, but when I was comparing my current files with IUB (which is what I always do before I install anything), I realized that I already had most of what IUB had.

So in a way, you can say that I AM using IUB... ;)

Yes i served as para/scuba raider (frogman) Leutnant of the GOI / COMSUBIN of the italian Navy special forces command. Actually, by last month i'm descharge with honour after 15 years of service.
More time to play SH3 now!! :D (And my wife is more happy too...!)

p.s. :check your PM

Marhkimov 12-12-05 07:07 PM

Thanks Scirè,

Now I will know EVERYTHING about the Mediterranean and the Black Sea. :D

But even so, you're free to have your opinions. :yep:

I live in the mediterranean shore and the colours are very acurate, perhaps not too diferent of the spezia waters and the screenshots..

Actually, this is my personal freecam.

But CCIP's settings are similar. You can download it at terrapin's site in the mods section.
CameraMod_v2.0.zip

Download it and install the FOV low version. I'm pretty sure that the moon will show up in freecam...

Cheers!
Marhkimov.

It has files for both 8km and 16km.

Yep, just download it, and pick the one that says 16km, and install that one. Disregard the 8km version.
