Torpedos @ U-505
 

Might not help out much, these were taken in August at U-505 exhibit, Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.

Very nice shots of the U505, Papabull. Getting decent photos there was pretty difficult, considering how dark the exhibit was.

Nice pics.

The last torpedo (with the red & white stripes) is a training version. The same type of torpedo can be seen in pictures of He 111s used for torpedo bombing.

ehm...SORRY for bumping this very old topic, but I must confess that I really can't stop thinking about those damn BEAUTIFUL torpedos textures!

Have you seen my torpedoes? I released them a long time ago... You can find them on Terrapin's site...

Yup, yours are fine, better than stock textures, but the shiny bronze and dark blakc of of TankerIV's torpedoes are so... brilliant... where did Tanker go, it wasn't nice of him to leave us hanging.

BDU have been promising me these black and copper fishes for a long time. :stare: I've even sent members of my crew on a search mission of the warehouses to try and locate them but as yet no joy :cry:

I wonder why BDU has left us hanging waiting for those beautiful black & copper fishes :shifty:

You seem pretty skilled, can you make an attempt on recreating Tanker's torpedoes just based on the screenshots? I would love that :D

I tried to , but it just wasn't the same...

Anyways, torpedoes blow up; it's a shame to make 'em overly nice. ;) :lol:
