Justed wanted to say that I have never gotten the impression anywhere that Jungman or any other modders are 'frozen out'.

All hail the modders! My deepest respect to you all.

And happy belated birthday, Jungman. I still have 5 years to go... :ping:

Regards,

Nopileo

Happy birthday, Jungman!

Thanks for all the mod work you do. You are one of the ones that make SH3 more enjoyable to many.

Happy Birthday, Jungman!.......... :|\

Thanks for the response. I am glad people are OK with me.

It would seem alot of people do like me then. The thing with X1 is a hard lesson learned. I thought people may have been upset seeing my name in the readme.

It's been awhile ago, did not think much of until I saw the X1 thread and read it.

Again, thanks for your friendship. :) I needed to know where I stand in the community.

Hello Martin,

nobody stealling any mode for Seawolves release version! Seawolves create by 3 modders and I am the publisher for this product. Also there inside some of the best mods from modders with there permissions!
That we publish a game where you also can download some mods for free also is not new. Counter Strike or Operation Barbarossa and mutch other was the same. We here target that people there have no internet or there are not PC freaks to can search and install mods by it self and there a lot outside. Seawolves is not target there search for all mods test them all the days.
How you come to your statment? This is not tru. Why you dont let the modders make a little bit money for there work? Is this not fair?

Greetings
Steffen Trombke

Steffen,

Why are you stealing and selling freeware mods?

Every "mod" in your "SEAWOLVES" package for Silent Hunter 3 has been independently developed and made available for free by independent people not employed by you.

Again, why are you stealing like this? You realize that a class action suit will be brought against your company don't you?

Curious,

Martin

Yeah, Steffan, why dont you lecture about that and fairness??

If some of the makers of those mods actually had gotten contacted, sure thing..
If you'd been honest and not tried to hide behind lame identities posting porn, yeah why not..

Since you havent.. I say time to get medieval on this publisher's lying, thieving, sorry @ss.

Oh, and Jungman - wouldnt dream of thinking badly of you, the modders themselfs. I hope you all at least will get your cut of the sales if this travesty of a product ever gets published :rotfl:

So... this thing is still alive?

I would be very upset if any of this was suddenly turned around against any of the modders here, whether they gave permission or vocally protested against X1. Whether you're Jugman who gave permission, or Jason who found Len's dirty laundry, you're also Jungman who hugely improved the game by adjusting the sonar, or Jason who did it by revising the convoys.

There's no reason to 'blacklist' anyone who did not go into this scenario with any ulterior motives. :hmm:

HEAR HEAR... Jungman... I see nothing wrong. I still appreciate what you have done so far... and dont give up!!! You have great promise as a new modder!

Oh and a belated Happy Birthday :-j

Wow Matrix games closing the thread.

All they have is X1's word for it that they were undertaking discussions.

Seems Matrix are ignoring everything brought up on various forums.

Anyway I didn't think that beta version was illegally downloaded if there was a link on the front page pointing to it...

What the hell, I think from the balance of evidence X1 are in the wrong and Matrix should think carefully from an ethical POV.
