Where I am in North Virginia we have about 3 feet with drifts almost 6 feet in some places.

We are not going anywhere for a while. The biggest problem was clearing a space to let the dogs poop. Unfortunately, our dogs are so well trained that they won't poop anywhere else but on the grass. :nope:

^ then i hope you have no grass in your apartment, or anything looking like it :hmmm:

Our cat (only one left now) never used the litter box in the last ten years, but since two weeks of snow it now does .. i am looking forward to better weather :)

You lucky bugger...ours won't use anything else, and I'm pretty sure she should be banned under the Geneva convention on chemical and biological weaponry. :nope:

We thought about getting one of those artificial turf indoor pee/poop stations, but there is no way our older dog would use it.

She held her poop for over 24 hours before pooping in the small area we were able to clear.

I got good dogs. :yeah:

Looks pretty nasty and according to the news, 25 storm related deaths despite all the precautions taken and most people staying off the roads.

And others do what most people do in such cases. Make the best of it.

This storm brings out the best in everyone, doesn't it!?! A guy in North Carolina gets stuck. A group of people try to push him out. When they can't get him out, they decide to call the sheriff for help. The driver hears them call the sheriff, so he gets mad, gets out of his car and starts shooting. Everyone starts running. One guy gets hit and goes down. The shooter walks up to him and shoots him dead. The sheriff arrives and the shooter is arrested. He was drunk!:nope: So much for trying too help the stupid bastid!

So I suppose his lawyer will get him off with a relatively minor punishment because he was too inebriated to really know what he was doing. Pretty maddening at any rate.
