BATTLESTATIONS!
I have fired a salvo of Mk 14's at the IJN Hiryu and have sunk it. Currently, I am dropping to 72 feet to reload my tubes and shoot the IJN Yamato! |

I actually raided Truk myself, but just to test some changes. Sunk the Nagato and Yamato, but never made it out of Truk. Course, I've scripted Truk to make it hard, massive shore guns, elite patrols, subnets and minefields. I just can't deal with the shame of riding in on the surface and sink a bunch of helpless capital ships.:O: |
Early reports indicate no lives lost on the Hiryu. They were all on shore leave!!!
Still awaiting a status report on the sub-chaser. |

Currently, it's making its rounds around the capital ships. :03: I'm going to let it slide. I've put 5 torpedoes into Yamato and she's still afloat. :-? |
Patrol Report:

At 0620, enemy TF spotted containing 3 carriers. 0633 Breaking off contact. 2 January Spotted enemy subchaser. Fired 3 torps from 8000 yards, dived to 600 ft, rigged for silent running. Escaped unharmed. 4 January Picked up convoy on radar at 5kts. Unable to get in attack position by nightfall. 6 January Picked up TF on radar at 32 kts. Unable to get in position, but we gave a good chase. Broke contact. 11 January Enemy TF spotted. Breaking off to fomulate plan of attack. Lost contact, but good planning by crew. 15 January Upset stomach, patrolled submerged. 17 January. Ship spotted at nightfall. I ordered battle surface, all guns manned. We charged enemy at 17kts all guns firing. After a daring 3 hour running gun battle we sent enemy to the deep. Very proud of myself and crew. :nope: :nope: :nope: I'm not that bad. I just don't want to lose this career so early and it's just hard to attack a large group of warships in 65 feet of water. The game is glitching with the Hiryu. It's been burning for almost a whole day and the wreck moves....It sets the water on fire wherever it goes and it just creeps around the harbor. Seeing this in my periscope actually broke both periscopes and hurt my watch crew. WTF IS GOING ON?! ARMISTEAD! WHAT VOODOO CURSE DID YOU CAST?! :dead: |

Hey, Armistead! Are you willing to become the missing ComSubPac and review/critique our performance? Uncle Charlie's staff sends us new assignments, and sometimes even a medal or two if we done good. But never a word of praise or criticism from the Old Man. You want the job? We could all post our PatReps and you could carve us a new one when we don't do 110% success. You'd be filling a real need!:)

I know you think you see fire balls chasing your sub, hurting your crew and burning up both scopes. We understand your many fears. We are only concerned for your well being. Now, go lay in your bunk, the Doc will be alone to give you a lil shot of vitamins. It won't hurt too much, just close your eyes and go to a happy place. We're very proud of your almost attack on the subchaser and I'm gonna give you a vacation when you return to base. |
