I am leaning towards Chris Christie.

The liberal ( I am liberal myself, it hurts me to admit this) media smears him as a bully, but you do not understand Jersey politics, using the bully pulpit is necessary due to rampant cronyism from the Criminal Jon Corzine who gave the state away for 2 terms.

He balanced our budget, he passed legislation to curb rampant out of control propert tax raises, of which this state suffers some of the highest rates in the country.

He is also a moderate Republican.

That is my pick for '16.

Unless he puts on a whole new phony face like Mc Cain did. Moderate senator to Tea-publican in 7 campaign days.

I like him as well.Little too friendly with obama though, but overall a good candidate.Sadly, the weight issue will hurt him.

Yeah, heaven forbid our politicians actually stop slitting each other's throats to work together in times of crisis.

Co-operation? In the Senate?!

Wasn't the last time that happened back in 1776? :hmmm:

I was referring to Chris Christie's complimenting Obama and the federal response during the aftermath of hurricane Sandy, which is what has Bubblehead all mad.

Anything vaguely left of far right has Bubblehead mad, Tak :03:

Christie seems like a good show though, it depends if the GOP gets its act together between now and 2016, there certainly hasn't been the mass self-destruct that some predicted, I think that they might well just step back and reassess their position on several matters and how they are perceived by the average voter. :yep:

I thought that happened when the Red Sox won the world series in 2004?

Actually we didn't have a senate until 1789, but even then cooperation had to be forced on them. Two years before that the group that created the Constitution we run by were at each other's throats constantly. It took some sage advice from Benjamin Franklin to get them to stop fighting and come to a compromise before the thing finally got passed. Today it might never have happened at all.
