Many thanks to Testpilot for his kind permission to use his removable UZO code.

Obviously, aces as well as testpilot did not consider it necessary to give credits to the persons whose methods, codes, and the work they use.

I hope I haven't missed anyone out, if so, please forgive me.

I hope this enlightens a few people :yep: I wonder if accusations like this is why Aces has been AWOL so long. Tho I can speak from personal experience he is not one to bear grudges.

Come back to the fold soon Leigh, you're sorely missed by the majority mate :salute:

Best regards.

Yes, I must admit to being a bit puzzled as to what is going on here :hmmm:

machiavelli 06-26-13 09:26 AM

Aces is quite talented. He mods BoB2 Wings of Victory, Steel Fury and SH3. Quite a wrap sheet. I've seen him dabbling over at the Operation Star forums at Graviteam as of late.

machiavelli 06-26-13 09:29 AM

Also, I'm more fond of the tactic of not telling anyone what your currently modding, so there are no impatient gamers to address or pressure you have to be under.

Oh, I see sleepy kingdom brightened up slightly... what sort of theme is here? :haha:

Fubar2Niner 06-26-13 11:21 AM

Sleepy? Yes the thread is getting on... I guess.

Bright? Well not exactly as there is no news of how this mod is going, or if Aces is ok.

Theme? First thoughts, surely the theme is set by the thread title. If you're refering to the latset posts. Then I guess you could apply the thought, 'credit where credit is due' as the saying goes.

I hope that explains things a bit. On balance perhaps be a tad less heavy, before opening up on fellow modders.

I have no modding experience save messing with sound files, if you feel upset by my comments, I apologise. I really cannot see your complaint however.

Best regards.

It's your problem.
I'm sorry, i see you do not understand/remember the context of the conversation... I think.

Fubar2Niner 06-26-13 12:15 PM

A) My problem? If you see it that way, then so be it, personally, I have a whole shed load of things that are more important.

B) No need to apologise, I do not feel either insulted or offended.

C) I see a comment accusing a member of this community, a member who has contributed much to the enjoyment and longevity of SH3, as have you, of something that may have been overlooked in some long lost readme. re: credits. As I have quoted, in two instances, Aces has given credit to all who have given perms or helped, and has mostly apologised for any he has missed. I have ( I think ) most all his mods. I am willing to quote/post all his readme's if you so wish, however I think this a tad OTT.

Sorry for the 'rant' . For my part that's and end to this 'misunderstanding'.

Best regards.

I can't understand - you're too stupid or are you defending the honor of the uniform?
If you do not understand what I'm writing you should not open your mouth... the more that you do not understand the essence of the modifications.
Nobody don't attempts desecrate the chastity of respected aces... simple remark - there are no corresponding credits in this thread and in shared files... at the same time, we see credit to the person (known plagiarist) who used the method (code) of known modder, but also without the proper credits.
Now, i hope, really the end of your misunderstanding... and time discontinue "chewing of snot".
