Best regards. Fitzcarraldo :salute: |
I realised that I hadn't changed the 3D damage model in the Bolzano .dat ,and the one from the original ship didn't fit very well.
I've just uploaded a new file with the problem fixed, and also changed the node names as AOTD_MadMax and the_frog suggested. Here is the new link: https://mega.co.nz/#!k4RGRAgL!LLsdyS...rD83RzNsndMuNE You can discard the first version. Apologies for this mistake. |
There is now a new Town-Class file with the node names in the .dat and .sim files changed:
https://mega.co.nz/#!MtwxBDhJ!fg28HX...O6AE18eOVaFROg It contains all the necessary files, so you can delete the initial release. |

Version 1.1 of the Yubari has been uploaded
https://mega.co.nz/#!hlYz0BRK!LhoGEV...jNSWyuKvBKzMJg Mostly minor changes and fixes, and the node naming fixed. |
Also v1.1 of minelayer Abdiel is now available:

In the next days I'll upload an old ship that I've been revamping:
http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps9522beac.jpg It's the Italian light cruiser Montecuccoli that VonDos allowed me to use for the Mediterranean Campaign, and has now given permission for this treatment. 3D model is the same , but it has now an occlusion map that allows more accurate camo patterns. Apart from that, the shipyards are not idle. A new ship is in the slipway waiting to be launched: http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps6aa174d8.jpg |
Guepard?

An Aigle class large destroyer.
The French Fleet has been largely ignored in the SH world. With the exception of the modern battleships, I can only remember a Bourrasque Class model. A while ago there were good plans available for most of the French WW2 vessels, and wanted to try it. Despite their old look with those four funnels, the Guepard-Aigle-Vauquelin classes always looked very sexy to me. And with some changes, the series could be expanded into the Chacal and Fantasque classes. |
Having few more French ships in Silent Hunter would be nice. The French destroyer leaders were really interesting vessels.
Sadly, the French Navy closed their open access library of old ship plans ... |
Just to clarify the site was hacked again but will available soon

Anyway, if anyone needs any of the WW2 military vessels, I got many of them from another source. An update on the Aigles. I think that the 3D work is almost finished: http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps425493af.jpg Only the damage model is left, and I'll take one of the stockers and adapt it to the hull. I've reached some problems with the Montecuccoli. The foam ahead appears separated from the hull, and I have no clue of what should I do to fix it. |

Japlance good job, on my side I saved a few shots of boats, and I work on a two call'd the Test captain. But stay on SH3 easiest games to my level

I've decided to upload the Montecuccoli in its current state, with the bug of the front foam.
http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...psd297073c.jpg If anyone knows how to get rid of it, please let me know. Here is the file http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps01595240.jpg https://mega.co.nz/#!FoAnHYwR!Nub3Ol...WUn61axjO3WNSY |
