Anyone ever seen the WWII sub movie " Mission Bikini" ?

Wasn't bad for an old B+W movie.

I don't believe that I ever have seen that film.

Saw it last week on an old movies channel.

Strange thing is I can't find it on google.

I just watched this tonight (based entirely on the discussion here) and I have to say, it was way more entertaining and chill-inducing than I expected even given the recommendation. I think it may become my go-to sub movie for the Halloween season. :yeah:

OOPS!!! The movie is " Operation Bikini " Good WWII Sub movie.

It's on TV right now. What luck. Found it while channel surfing, just as they picked up the convoy on radar. :)


They chose a great setting. What could be worse than being deep under water in a haunted submarine? :DL

While I was watching it I started thinking along those exact same lines. "What could be worse than being trapped underwater in a badly damaged, out of control submarine? Oh, right, being trapped underwater in a badly damaged, out of control, HAUNTED submarine."

And really, maybe I just wasn't paying enough attention, or focused on other things - but normally in movies like this I figure out what the "surprise" is very early on. This one - well, I had ideas, I knew there was something hinky about the death of the previous CO, but I wasn't absolutely SURE what happened until they finally revealed it. There was just enough uncertainty to keep me wondering between that and a couple other possibilities.
