I think we'll just add 1 more team and call it a day. This is what happen last year, we had a bunch of people join at the last second and you have to have an even number:shifty:, so I expanded the league.
|
I have nothing to do at work today, so I'm going to work on FF stuff:D:woot:.
What do you guys think? Do you like the 2 large divisions or the smaller ones like last year?:hmmm: |
Those proposed draft dates are ok for me
The 2 larger divisions are definately better. The two division leaders and the next two best records go into the championship round. This is the only fair way to assure the best teams advance. @Tom...great seeing you here. My team is the Dragons. |
You could do 3 divisions of 4 teams each.
EDIT: or RickC's idea of 2 divisions and next two best records sounds fun. |

I'll take that last spot if available. Like Rick's idea regarding team's
advancing :yep: |
Am liking the two larger divisions and also i like Rick's idea of the top 3 in each advancing to the post season. also with fewer teams it will mean the should be a few more quality players floating about in the lower reaches of the draft.
Just hope the Nighthawks can draft well and stay clear of the dreaded second season blues. |

What think ye? Right now we have 12 |

In terms of numbers, I have always favored a larger league. It spreads out the A-listers and forces you do really do your homework. Now you just can't sit on 'Ocho-Cinco' and expect to win. You're actually forced to delve into the *gasp* waver and free-agent pools. EDIT: Ooo. Looks like I'm playing Aramike in week one. Muahahahaha |

Oldie but goodie just for you... Favvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvrayyy!! |
I wish we could get 1480 and or KP back here. 1480 has dropped off the map.:06:
So we have one more spot! |
2 divs sound fine to me - course I am a newb..... at FF at least.
|
nick - my emails are getting bounced off your comcast address. Yes, the offline draft is fine. I don't know how Yahoo's in-house draft system is, so I guess we'll stick with the devil we know.
|
I just did an online-live draft at ESPN.com and if Yahoo's interface is even half as slick as theirs I have no problem with that system. We could go there once registered and do a practice draft anytime beforehand to get familiar with the interface.
Sure is a ton less work for the commish and it was over in 40-45 minutes. Also, noshows just got automatically switched to their autopick system, which still gives them a decent team but not as good as one you'd pick yourself. We even had time to chat in the chat area. and......it randomly set the draft order and the manager who picks 1st gets a slightly tougher schedule than the guy picking 12th. I know yahoo's system does this as well. I'm ok either way you go. |
