now combine this with the "bad translator" thread, and you end up with this:

That's 33 trillion, just in case.

If they agree to take and keep Palin with it, we can knock the deal down to a quick $25.00. :yeah:

Deal or no deal?

Mannerheim was a good general.

Dowly 04-15-10 05:22 PM

Yeh, he did what was asked off him. But only he was forced to it, he wanted to give up and sue for peace. But hey, no wonder, the half a swede he was. :O:

Well actually he was half politician and half general, he is like George Washington to Americans.

These are some of our best generals, one thing they have in common is that they were all Jäegers.

Part of the Royal Prussian 27th Jäger Battalion (Königlich Preussisches Jägerbataillon Nr. 27), trained in Locksted, Prussia 1915-18.
Trained to liberate Finland, this batallion was the foundation and cadre of the modern Finnish army.

Paavo Talvela
Ruben Lagus
Hjalmar Siilasvuo
Karl Lennart Oesch
Erkki Raappana
Erik Heinrichs

The batallions flag comes first in every parade, national flag after it.

Congratulations, Tovarisch! Strangely enough Turner is broadcasting "The North Star", a WW2 era propaganda film about the Russians with Dana Andrews and a screenplay written by Lillian Hellman.

On the other hand, This film by Elem Klimov was one of the most harrowing I ever saw about the Great Patriotic War. "Idi i Smotri" or "Come and See."

Be sure to take lots of pics if you go to Red Square. At the SF fiftieth anniversary of V-E Day, We had a contingent of Red Army veterans marching in the anniversary parade with veterans of the French, British, Polish, US and Nationalist Chinese Armies along with US Navy and Marine vets including Pealr Harbor survivors.

As far as I know VE day isn't a holiday anywhere in the states anymore and VJ day is only still celebrated by Rhode Island.

It's a good thing you spelled it out cause the number says 33.6 billion.

And I think 33 Trillion is still not enough to have Soviet, er I mean Russian Tank armies stationed on our continent.

Speaking of the end of the War, they had a show on the history channel:haha: about the Nazi's and the occult. What a weird show:o. I'm surprised Himmler had so much free time on his hands to dabble in all of that stuff, but the craziest thing they had was they used a divining pendulum/rod to find convoys and they actually plotted u-boat patrols from them.

No wonder you guys lost the War.

Vhat does the diving rod said? "Send...all...u-boats...to...the...caspian...Sea..."

Himmler: Herr Donitz, we need to transfer all of the u-boats the the Caspian Sea.

Donitz::haha: oops, I mean:salute:
