You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means:oops::har: |
SH5 punched me in the face and said you cant win your the bad guy
but really why the hell did they change it from the tryed and trusted coding of SH3 & 4 to this new way of playing i dnt understand it also i can stand the fact ever cargo ship i come across has a naval gun aimed at my forehead the war only just started MN trying to kill me |
SH V need one year or more to stay at the same level of Sh 3 + GWX
Three examples: Aditional submarines Campaign after 1943 or distant grid patrols Aditional merchant ships or units and no mention about constan internet conection... :dead: Poor Ia, Bugs.. Sh3 and sh4 gives to the subsimmer the best overall perspective about the submarine war during WWII |

I have sunk in two patrols 250.000 ton? Using my torpedoes and deck-gun. That's why I see it (at the moment), as a shooter instead as a simulation game. BTW: I appreciate all the work the modders have done. :yep: My mods page here at subsim ... meaning I understand the hard work of modders. |

When you say poor IA, do you know there is AI MOD by TDW that makes IA 99% better? Iīm agree with SailorSteve. You talk about SH5 is crap or anything .. but .. do you know the latest advances with Mods? Have you looked at the SH5 Mod Section before ? Thanks |

You should buy the game, install the mods, then maybe - you'll know what you are talking about, and if you already have the game? Then you can't have tried the mods out there. Sure it's not perfect, it's not like a supermodded SH3 for sure, but it also is no-where near as bad as you've just said. |

I'm really getting into SH5 with the improvements of the mods. |

"SH V need one year or more to stay at the same level of Sh 3 + GWX" because it requires a lot of time for modders fix and make upgrades. i donīt expect any movement of UBI |

But the stuff you quoted was so untrue? - read my earlier post |

I'd say at least 1.5 years assuming you have a team of dedicated people working on it. More then likely, longer then 1.5 years. Maybe 2, maybe more. I don't think very many people realize just how much you have to reload the game as a modder when doing certain things. You make a tweak, save the file, start the game, wait for it toload to the menu, start a mission and wait for loading, see the result. exit game, make tweak, start the game, load.. etc etc. DRM on top of that makes this a screaming PAIN IN THE ASS! It's tedious as it is already, DRM compounds this issue even more. Quote:

At any rate , i think people are impatient. I have the impression they want a fully modded SH3 with prettier graphics right out of the box. Personally, after giving SH5 two "college tries", i find im quite content with SH4, with SH5 residing as shelf fodder for the next couple years while the SH5 modders climb mount Everest. |
No, they were big floating BUGS!

However, I remember in SHIII pre-GWX getting around 200,000 tons in two patrols, which is not far off. I have to say that 4 months after SHIII was released, it was almost if not just as bad as SH5 is right now. I am sorry if others disagree with this(however most people here probably don't even know what it was like). BTW, I was using GWX mods way before I joined Subsim, so don't let that fool you. Lastly, I appreciate that you have contibuted to the subsim community by way of modding, it is a noble deed.:salute: Quote:

I admit that SHIII+GWX is better than SH5 in many ways. All my main point is that saying SH5 is unplayable is ridiculous. Also, comparing a game that we have only had 4 months to work on to a game that has had half a decade is not fair to anyone. Quote:

Though the last time I pulled that one I ended up having do give a lengthy reference with YouTube liniks. :dead: |
