How many times could one mine stupid quotes from Bachmann vs Obama? What do you think the ratio on that would be?

TDK1044 12-09-09 11:23 AM

Regularly....no. But there have been a few gems in his first year. :)

You know, I think Barack Obama is an honorable man. I believe that he loves this Country and that he wants the best for it.

The problem is that he genuinely believes that the US is great because of Government, and he therefore seeks to increase Government involvement in the every day lives of our citizens.

I believe that he's wrong. In my opinion, the US is great because of individual, entrepreneurial achievements made in the private sector. We are strong because of small business enterprises, where people start with nothing and take the personal risk in order to succeed.

President Obama wants a society where the Government removes the risk. He offers more security at the price of freedom. When you travel down that road, you end up with a society based on From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

It would be impossible to come to an accurate count as the MSM plays favorites.

Actually, I'm really hoping Palin does not get in the race at all, I still cannot condone quittin the governor's seat.

Thats not her plan. Trust me she will not run however she will be quite influential none the less.

As my mother had put it: Palin is the living proof that creationism is true. She cannot be the product of an evolutionary process that took longer than just 6 thousand years. :DL

And my father added at that opportunity: look at her perfect evolutionary design. Everything that increases her chances to breed is there: looks, and anything that just drives men away, is lacking: brains. :D

You just keep beleving that Palin is a drooling loon. I think you will be supprised in the long run.

Um, large numbers of stupid people acting stupidly doesn't clear another stupid person of their stupidity.

(Gee, I wonder if there will be a "clever" attempt to turn my words against me, vis-a-vis the 2008 election? Naaaah, too predictable.)

People have said she is a loon, her words and behaviour seems to back that up.
But a drooling loon?
I think not.
It might have been said about some of her fans though.

Couldn't even name one Supreme Court case. ONE. Seriously, not even Brown v. the Board of Education? Or Marbury v. Madison? McCulloch v. Maryland?

I can't believe that anyone anyone with half a brain when asked to name one supreme court decision they disagreed with and not immediately blurt out Dred Scott v. Sandford 1857. Dred Scott should be a no-brainer.

Plessy v Ferguson 1896 would also be a good one.

But no, the only one she could think of was Roe v Wade? How much does anyone want to bet that Palin has no idea about Doe v Bolton 1973? :nope:

Plat you sound like a lawyer interviewing for an appointment to the bench. :DL

Maybe a better question for a non lawyer running for Vice President would be which Presidential decision did they disagree with?
