Being on the economic left, you don't give me many freedoms at all as a businessman.

You know it's all relative. China used to be and in many ways still is very very much on the left of the spectrum and have had a pretty booming business environement for some time.

As for small entreprenours I have nothing but sympathy, it's when the big fellas begin to step on the collective toes of the people that my ire is raised. If Letum corp. wants to buy some small nation and make it's citizens guinea pigs for nasty experiments I will certainly go "What's all this about then? Eh?! Eh?!"

That's me:

I actually found some of the questions to be not precisely enough. For example the one whether first generation immigrants can integrate into a new country. I've seen both sides. 3rd generation "Germans" that still don't speak the language properly and first generation Germans from for example Poland where you couldn't tell the difference to the native population except for a slight polish accent (still way better than some of the 3rd generation guys from a certain country). So I guess I should be a bit more to the right side than is displayed on this chart.:O:

*speaks with a Texas accent* "Ya know, I think women folks should be slapped aroun' just to keep 'em in check, and they do belong in the kitchan', that's their God-given spot. It's opinions like this that make me a real regular kinda stand-up guy, a square-shooter, you hear me pardner?"

I should go on the road with my "christian guy from Texas" schtick. :D

No, just making an observation about how far from the center your profile appears to be.

I guess now I understand when people say you are "out there". ;)

You guess? You're not sure? :)

Generalisations are fun. That's why people make them. Whether about perceived extremists or hicks from Texas.

Oh boy, getting personal, are we? Ahem, I was referring to the topic of this thread, and how far your position was from the center. I did not launch into a tirade about "boneheads from Finland", or anything else unrelated to this topic. I guess (I know) I shouldn't try have light conversation with you. Won't happen again. :shucks:

I found alot of the questions leveraged and guiding I forget the name for it but they do it with polls alot.

Questions like "Do you like pollution" of course the vast majority will say no.

Where as questions like "Do you think global warming is a 'real' issue" will get answers from both ends of the spectrum.

I might take the test this evening when I have time.

For now? :timeout:

Deal. :salute:

I'm afraid to guess where Xabba ranks on the test, maybe he'll take it and let us know...

OneToughHerring 09-04-09 09:54 AM

He's already taken the test, on the first page. He scored pretty high in both authoritarian and right.

Edit. Oh I see you're in the blue square too, but Xabba is higher in authoritarian then you in the Right so...he's the most 'blue square'-extreme. :)

Raptor1 09-04-09 09:54 AM

I might beat him if I wasn't too lazy to answer all those questions...

Yeah, I see it now. I still think Dowly was the most accurate with his assessment of the test.

I was playing with the numbers. My first completed test had a red dot in all four quadrants. Then the my computer rebooted.

That would be the schizophrenic side of the graph :rotfl:
