My post on the first page has been update with Patrol 8 results..... very boring patrol. Cant wait until the hunters get a bit better. Evaded 4 DDs in 120m of water... YAAAWWWN. :D (becareful what I wish for ... thier time is comming)

Details of Loss
U-161 left Lorient for its 5th war patrol on 13 FEB 43 to patrol DC79, NE of the Bahamas. The last report received from U-161 on 07 MAR 43 placed the boat in DD39 with ETA at the patrol area 20 MAR 43. It reported the boat had sunk 9 ships totalling 41,741 tons, mostly just north of the Azores, and had taken damage from repeated aircraft attacks.

Oberleutnant z. S. Ludwig Luchs and U-161 are presumed lost somewhere between Bermuda and the Bahamas sometime after 07 MAR 43. American sources claim a U-boat sunk by aircraft in this area on 17 MAR 43.

Summary
5 war patrols, 212 sea days
43 ships sunk, 230,806 tons

I'm actually in the process of downloading all of the portraits from uboat.net. I'll be releasing them as an add-on to SH3 commander so we can have a bit more variety.
