I just dont agree with them naming their son Adolph (Let alone Hitler) after one of the worlds most hated individuals. But they're entitled to do what they want. Feel bad for the kid though, either he'll be feared in the playground or teased and most likely bullied something shocking.

Don't be so sure. Given kids, first they won't even recognize the connection, then when they find out they might just say "COOL! I wish my parents named me something like that!"
Sure, bullies might use that as an excuse, but then bullies use almost anything as an excuse. If that kid's personality is that kind that doesn't make him a target for bullies, he might actually turn it around into an "advantage" of sorts.
Anyway, regardless of the stupidity of the parent, it is not the kids fault, and Adolf Hitler, while definitely one of the worst history ever popped out, is hardly vulgar or anything of the sort. The shop had no right to refuse, especially once they confirm it is indeed the child's name.
