that model looks perfect, but for a two torpedo sub that didn't work all that well... well I think it's very expensive, especially compared to the game's price!

But yeah that model looks perfect.. it's the later version though : the one used in the Sidney harbor attack.

The number of downloads of that minisub (12 for the version 1.3, 25 for the earlier 1.2 version) doesn't press me to perfect it any more than it already is, I have other things to finish in the Jyunsen B mod.

I'm currently playing around with video and sounds, I might just replace the intro video with the second one I posted yesterday, the fourth attack on a merchantman by I-10 during her 5th patrol. :)

Man I wish I had a 3 d model program.

I like the idea of having this sub in the game, problem I have is the multiple crew stations for a craft with only two crew, the multiple reloads for a craft with only two torps. These I think can be worked out by working with the game files (perhaps just a commander in the "control room" and engineer in the engine/motor room).

But the model is all incorrect. The actual sub had a more pointed nose, which had two points which were in fact the torpedo noses themselves. So when those torps were on their way the boat had two openings.

But as indicated this was a quite unsuccessful sub so continued work on it would not be worth much, but it could be fun.

I've got a solution to your Periscope problems. Take the Senzori_Uboot file(s) and make a copy, renaming it Senzori_Uboot_02. Using your preferred 3D modeling program start chopping the bottom off of one of the scopes that is already in game. Once you've got it to a length you like add a new node into your new Senzori_Uboot_02 file and import the model. This is what I have done with the 688i mod to keep all the Fleet Boats from having the 688's periscopes and such.

thanks ! but I reead the replies here and Peabody who made the short scope work already made it a senzori_02, thanks for the tip anyways :)

the current version is 1.3, I am reuploading it on my FF page as we speak (write).
