When people really leave, they just disappear, they don't grandstand. Steed, as was said before, is upset about some locked threads. I've read them, and frankly, I don't think that their closure was a big deal. Neal was a whole lot nicer than I would have been.

My bet is that he'll cool down for awhile and then come back. The best thing that his friends could do is to let him do just that, and allow him some dignity when he does so. The only thing certain to keep him away is an impending 'told ya so' upon return.
