There are two measurements to determine a lady's bra size. It is much more complicated than "how big her tits are"

Step 1 Measure her band size

Her band size is also known as her chest size. It is the circumference of her chest either above or below her breasts. Both measurements are commonly used and are accurate in determining her correct bra size:

Upper chest band size

Place the tape measure around her back and upper chest by going above her breasts and under her armpits. Make sure the tape measure lies taut against her skin. If you get an odd number or a fraction, round up to the nearest even number. For instance, 31.6 inches (80.3 cm) will become 32 inches (81.3 cm). This measurement in inches is her band size.

Underbust band size

Place the tape measure tightly around her back, going under her breasts and across her ribcage. Add four inches (10.2 cm) if you get an even number and five inches (12.7 cm) if you get an odd number. For example, 28 inches (71.1 cm) will become 32 inches (81.3 cm). This is her band size.

Following this example, her band size is 32 inches (81.3 cm). Keep this number in mind, as you will need it to calculate her cup size.

Step 2: Measure her cup size

Measure the diameter of her chest, including her breasts at their fullest part. This part is usually at the nipple level. To determine her cup size, subtract her band size from her chest plus breast measurement. Hence, if her chest and breast measurement is 34 inches (86.4 cm), and her band size is 32 inches (81.3 cm), you will get a difference of two inches (5.1 cm). The table below lists the various cup sizes based on the length of the difference:

Difference: Cup Size
1 inch (2.5 cm): A
2 inches (5.1 cm): B
3 inches (7.6 cm): C
4 inches (10.2 cm): D
5 inches (12.7 cm): DD or E
6 inches (15.2 cm): F
7 inches (17.8 cm): G
Since you have a difference of 2 inches (5.1 cm) in this example, her cup size is B. From steps 1 and 2, you already know her bra size, which is 32B.

So the cup size is the difference in measurement between your lady's chest size and her bust size.

This is genious. Never have I seen before such an underhand way of raising a debate on female chest size in a public forum.

And for the record... to look at...must do the pencil trick. To interact with...it really doesnt matter to me.

@Platapus.....I don't suppose you work in a lingerie store :hmm:

Another scientific test recently concluded that one specific food group reduced a woman's sex drive by almost 100 percent.......Wedding cake! :D

Nothing underhanded about it, I am genuinely writing a paper on the subject for one of my classes. Reason why I decided to do such a poll is because very little research or statistical data gathering has been done on the subject of what the average male prefers as far as the breast size of a woman. What research has been done has been widely critizied and is considered inconclusive (the results between different research doesn't match up for one thing).

Since I couldn't get any genuine research, I decided to create a little poll here (which has a fairly average population of males). Though I cannot cite this poll as being scientific or accurate, I can cite it for what it is (a forum poll). Its also given me a decent idea more or less what the average male prefers.

When my paper is done i'll post some of the conclusions I came to, and talk about my paper a bit, and what I found.

A realistic understanding of lady's intimate fashions has served me very well over the years.

Here's a hint: Get a reputation for truly understanding lady's lingerie and Women will love to ask you your opinions about lingerie but only if you are knowledgeable and not just acting like a highschooler.:know:

Trust me on this :smug:

My spouse was complaining of all her bra's being to small and needed to spend our money getting some new ones. "Sure go ahead and get some. I don't want you feeling miserable."

She went to Wal-Mart and spent $80.00+ of our money and them some for an entire set of new bra's.

When we buy stuff, I mean ANYTHING, I have to scan in the purchase and transmit the purchase to these people:

So I am scanning in all the bar codes of all these non-sexy bra's and find this and faint and pass out:

Much to my suprise we have moved from the basic requirement of 36D to 36DDD. Amazing what aging does to a body.

I no longer have dreams of the ultimate kill in GWX 2.0 and/or SH4 any more.
I just am amazed at bar code scanning.

Sometimes, I dream of bowling a PERFECT 300 game, only to find I left one pin standing when I wake up in the morning. :) :)

Way too much science:

Let nature and aging take its course. We've been married 28 years. Never Have I looked elsewhere.

I still love her and will do ANYTHING to keep her, mine.

I can partialy explain that also beyond aging.

Acording to the research I've gathered, the overal average breast size in north american women has been steadily increasing by almost a cup size.

Question is why though.

3 theories are..

1. Bra manufactures have been decreasing the size considered an A B C D. Ever noticed how in clothing you have a size range that will fit you depending on who made the clothes, well same thing with bras, manufacturers may also be doing it to give women a slight ego boost by letting them think they are larger.

2. The increasing obesity problem is responsible. Breast size is largely based on body dimensions and weight, larger women tend to have larger breasts.

3. Chemicals, polution, hormones, is to blame. This is also the common theory as to why young girls are reaching puberty earlier then they were 50 years ago.

If your wife is moving towards the multiple "D", I would highly recommend she does not shop for bras at Walmart. She really needs to go to a specialty bra shop. She needs to find good quality bras that really fit.

If you guys live in the Northern Virginia area, send me a PM. We have a close friend who is in the "E's" and she can recommend where to go.

Thats because you are a real man.

Real men love our women just the way they are and forever.

Conga rats on 28 years. We just had our lucky 13th, but then it took us about 20+ years to find each other.
