And again...perhaps someone should post a similar poll in the SH4 forum and see what results you get. I very much doubt anyone would be surprised at the final poll results, however, regardless if this poll was in the SH4 forum or the IL2 forum or the Tank.sim forum. That's not just hyperbole...that's reality.

SH III with GWX all the way. Then again, maybe I just like being the "bad guy".

I found Aces of the Deep in the bargain bin in my local record/software shop in 1997. I knew nothing about subs, but I thought it looked interesting. Since then I was a dedicated subsimmer, I just barely passed my exams that year;)
SH3 was a milestone , but Aces will always be my number one.
SH 4 has beautiful graphics and the radio, but when you get the SJ "God´s eye" radar it becomes boring, boring, boring!!!

SH3 with GWX. Have yet to load SH4, despite having bought the game the day it came out! Just want to make it through to 45! Now the GWX team are bringing out the final version (1.0.4), so SH4 could be waiting a bit longer.:hmm:

This poll is asked in the wrong area...It should in a neutral forum post not in the SH3 forum..

Every subforum is biased in its own way, because every forum serves a particular interest. Its kind of a no brainer.

I got addicted to sub simming with silent hunter, forgot about it a few years, discovered AOD by accident and stuck to it over years until 2005 brought me SH3..

If Dangerous Waters was on that list, it would have been a REALLY hard choice for me so I chose SH III.

Yes! SH3+GWX is a different game you can play for years! The best of all! I think its a league on its own, no competition!!:up:
