Fictional arrest

Well AL, you're mu're much more beautiful and slimmer than the woman on the firearm video and I'm glad that this arrest stuff story was just that. A fiction story.
I guess we need a little shot in the arm every once in a while, eh?
I'm glad it was just a story. What's the weather like in Jerusalem? My favorite place was the Sea of Galilee. I also like the river Jordan where an old Arab merchant had an orange juice machine that he made fresh orange juice from fresh oranges from Joppa. I've never tasted an orange juice since that was sweeter and had the pulp that the Arab merchant made. One of these days I'll come back and visit and see how much it has changed since 1978. I do remember that our tour guide led us through the marketplaces of Old Jerusalem and we read in Stars and Stripes that a merchant cart had been loaded with C-4 explosives and went off an hour after we left that same spot! We were in a hurry and had to get to Capernaum and Ceaserea and had left Jerusalem when the cart had exploded! God was watching over us that day and we all felt a shiver run up and down our spine when we read the article. We spent 3 weeks in Haifa after we had spent a month in Alexandria, Egypt.:arrgh!: Keelhaul him and make sure ya get ALL the barnacles off this time!

Hot! Hot! Hot! I think the English used giant fans to steer their recent hot weather this way.

My desktop weather gadget says it's 27 outside right now at 10:23AM. The temps will be hitting close to 40 during the next few days, till after the weekend. :sunny:

Jaffa (Yaffo in Hebrew) is the name of Israel's ancient port city, on the southern tip of Tel Aviv. Labeled Jaffa brand oranges, however, can come from anywhere in the country. Israel's a big citrus fruit producer. No scurvy over here. :nope:

Big differences.

We have long ago stopped frequenting Arab markets, both for security's and principle's sake. :yep:

If it was 27 degrees over here I would have to put another log on the fire ... Forty degrees is not too bad, but you still need a coat. Just kidding :yep:

I heard it snowed over in Israel a few years ago ...

I bet your on that EU temp instead of the USA one, uh?

It was 93 degrees here yesterday ... suppose to be upper 90's today ...

We're at 36 now. Soon heading off to the coast for a beach-side swim and sandwich supper.

Not at all uncommon in the Jerusalem mountains, Gallilee and certainly the Golan, with Mt. Hermon being the country's sole ski resort - which closes when there's too much snow to handle. :damn:

You mean celcius/centigrade. Of course but that's nothing to do with the EU.
