When I first played the game I always swore blind to the Type IX boats but I'm more of a Type VII person now - really like the quicker dive times of all things:up:

The type IX is more of a tourer/lone wolf :arrgh!:

I tried almost all types of uboat in the game (exept the XXI i simply never manage to survive for that).

Well i love all of them - all types have they good and bad sides, its only a mater of each and everybody gameplay style i guess :hmm:

With the type IX you can travel anywhere you want, even the pacific.

You have plenty of ordanance, a larger crew, more fuel, room to tie up Bernard so he stays out of the way... Just don't get caught on the surface by anything, and stay the blazes away from anywhere you can't put 200m above the deck.

Ha ha ya tie Bernard up, maybe put him in one of those Nerger torpedos, but even that he would screw up. ha
