Was thinking today...Its a shame no one has made full interiors of all the sections you can go through. With the crew giving you a nod and saying "herr Keleun" n stuffs, and the Engineer covererd in battery acid slaving over kit.

no the suicidal squad do's what others dont dare and call "suicidal"...
it isnt like ramming other ships... its aproach a convoy. kill it with the deck gun and search for another...

yes you can bring your own boat... and suicidal ? have you ever placed Uberboot against a revenge on the surface ?

I have sailed as a british Ubersub in the queens sailpast and led their
squadron. I have sunk a few battleships otherwise but mostly
using torpedos as priority giant killers normally in my heart I just
sink battleships to get the destroyers pissed off and looking.:arrgh!:

then its a fair fight at battle depth.

I still Uber on the surface but I do use it as a sub now and then for missions
particlarly with the new version.(soon to be released)

big BB's are a PITA to kill with the DG :damn:
one almoast killes me but i was to close for 2 of her guns :arrgh!:

so... usualy its TF hunting and such

I have been trying out 24km radar against azns supercons it really really
helps controll the engagement against a large group combined
with ubers ability to engage and disengage fairly freely in most cases

I like the sound of the squad and its mission approach keeping a keener
edge on the player but I have almost no playtime. atm. What playtime
I do have is consumed largely by testing. I will have to check in later
If you guys want to make an Uber special fur the Suicide Squad
just swap out the main zones cfg for a standard one it will remove the
armour on uber but leave the rest.
(note this alteration will thereby also stop ubermod affecting other player subs.)

but i more prefer the historical U-124 tower. its a IX type 1.
if only you could switch the heavy flak for a DG... then i would take out some more BB's :arrgh!:

I'd love to be a member of the suicide flotilla...only one question, though...are we expected to live through these encounters?

BTW, I'm currently on the surface in a Type II, running like hell out of Scapa Flow from four escorts. It's night, raining hard, heavy fog...they can't see my little tub even at 200 meteres range but I'm raking them with the little peashooter of a deck gun I have whenever they pass. :arrgh!:

Starshells going off in the sky, the occasional barrage when they spot me for a fleeting moment...spectacular here in Scapa right now. Hope I make it.

Sounds great fun :) The bright lights in the night sky, the noise of violence, been small and been hunted by the many...Just like an evening at a Chelsea Arsenal match riot :arrgh!:

its nothing to trade a dg for the heavy flak that would take
about ten minutes the hard part is getting the player
usable sights and crew stations for it correctly put in
as it stands at this moment a second dg would function
exactly the same as the aft dg on uber 1.4a. in all likelyhood
the two deckguns would be slaved to the same target
one would appear manned (the aft one) and the other
would show no crew but would have the player usable
sights. both would fire when the time comes though
and if you man the front gun personally then you can
engage a different target than the one you designated
for the guncrew, allowing you to fire on two seperate
targets simultaneously with your heavy deck armament.
