Confusing though. The Ubi store has charged my card and claim to have shipped the game, but the Ubi site says this:

Pre-load now available!

Thursday 03/08/07 - For those of you who would rather not leave your home or office you can download Silent Hunter: Wolves of the Pacific through the Ubisoft Digital Store. You can pre-load the game starting now allowing you start playing the moment the game is released online on 3/21/07!

Why would the on-line version be so late if the retail version has shipped?

Good job blacking out your street address as I might just put on a diaper and drive to Loiusiana!

;)

LOL

I'm not sure many here got that. ;)

Hey, hey, hey!

Mine shipped today too, just in time for March Break here

No confirming e-mail with tracking number yet though, so hopefully that'll come.

If my sub's a-rockin' this weekend... hopefully I've got busty Army nurses aboard :|\\

It's possible Ubi shipped out all the first 3,000 pre-orders early since they are in limited supply (3,000 copies for the special edition here in America).

Time will tell though....about 15 in fact. lol

flintlock 03-08-07 11:57 PM

There is no Special Edition in North America, just a standard edition that ships with a few "extras" initially, and it's not limited to 3000 copies. The 3000 limit is for the Deluxe Edition, which is only available via Ubi's UK online store. There are Special and Collectors Editions available, though they're world-wide and region specific (not in North America).

Extra stuff and only available for a limited time sounds special to me. :)

I could have swore that the initial set (with the extra stuff) was limited to 3000 copies for the US/Canada. I read it somewhere, but I can't remember where.

You must be confusing the 3000 copies with the Deluxe Edition. Ubi has stated that they have not decided when they will remove the "extra" items from the North American edition of SH4, and specifically what they may remove at that time.

Ahh maybe that was it. Either way, I don't really care. Extra stuff or not, I just want the game. Everything else is trivial as far as I'm concerned. lol :arrgh!:

I always end up throwing that stuff in a box somewhere. It clutters up my computer room. lol

I almost had an heart attack, I visited the UBI store and it said no irders where listed. I was thinking )(*^%*)()*( :arrgh!:

Untill I found out that UBI had a STORE, and a SHOP.

My order, the special tin box edition, was not listed at the store but luckily it was indeed listed at the shop. :D

The Ubi order confirmation states that you will receive an email stating your order has shipped.

I never received another email, so I'm guessing nothing has shipped....despite what the website says.
