I will also wait for Jcwolf reply. perhaps he could give us a darkenned Periscope and Uzo view and also a non Int. Orders needed mod.;) A last question (a dumb one probably): this mod already have the TDC on periscope and Uzo views? If not, it's easy to merge them? Thanks again! Rubini. |
Rubini,
No it doesn't have the TDC on Periscope or UZO. A cursory look at the menu_1024_768.ini and dials.cfg that come with it, makes me think it would be easy to add it. |

I mate I'm sorry to reply to you just now, but I'm very sick in Bed with the strongest Flu ever in my life... in order: 1- No , you have to chose from one of them mate, both are the same with diference on the dials graphics, one as the original simfeeling Dials and the other the new ones more atractive ... 2- No mate, you have to install IO first I've made the mod to work along with IO... 3- I can try fixing that for you if you give me some time mate to recover!:-? :dead: If you realy whant without IO, I can allways do it for you later on mate!!!! |
Thanks for the reply mate!
Wish the best to you! I will install IO first and if possible (and when possible) make that darkened Peri and Uzo masks. The mod will have more choices and will get yet better!;) |

What do y'all use to open the file?
I have been trying to down load the tools and Dial, Mod. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but all I get is a file. I do not get a zip file. It shows that I am downloading 20.47mb/20,966kb. I put it in the mod inabler and nothing happends. Yes I have the intergrated orders installed. No, I don't have volume 1 installed. Arghhh! Help! Thanks in advance. |

Ok mate, any of The Mod Files are compressed with 7z, but you can unpack or decompress with any file archiever, like winrar, winzip,... The second reazon I believe it's hapening is that you're adding the all folder on the 7z file into JSGME, and you should just add the mod folder that comes inside the maine Folder, Inside the maine folder it comes the mod folder and the documentation folder mate, just copy that Mod folder into JSGME Mods folder in the SHIII Directory and enable the mod bro... Tell me if more help needed...:arrgh!: |
Thank you, I now have it on and like it very much.
If I had to make a change, I would make the chart under the Nav chart a darker color. The text is white and so is the chart. I can't speak German, so I have to depend on the text for most of the things going on. For example, if radar signals are detected, the crews text blends into the chart. Or, is there a way to change the text color? That would work as well. It is still a great mod to accompany the GWs work. Thanks to all involved. |
Olpdb, for your text, download Venatores Tactical green text mod at his drive through:up:

No problems mate, also remember that to install any kind of graphic like skins or sea water , you don't need to be in Port to do it, If t it is only graphic improvement mods there are no problem in instaling it at mid patrol! |
Is there a way to uninstal GWX without uninstalling SH3? I bought the game on release date and no longer have my CD key, so uninstalling is not an option. I like most of GWX, but I miss the old damage model for shipping. If there's a way to revert that without getting rid of GWX I'd try it out.
The skins in particular are great. |

Mate what you have to do is try a diferent damage model, but to ininstall gwx you have to uninstall the all game.... Ducimus can help you on that of the damage model, in fact I think he haves a work around for a new damage model thought i'm not sure!!!! |
Dustyboats,
Are you having problems with what exctely, I can't help you mate if you don't describe to me the exacte problem description.... If its installation instructions mate, you have on the included mod readme the way to install it easely and smouthly... But follow this steps... JSGME Install - Unpack the 7z file into your desktop... - Open or explore the main mod folder and you will see inside it the 2 diferent options for this mod... - Pick one of them and drag that folder into the JSGME Mods folder inside your C:/Programs Silent Hunter III directory... - Go to your JSGME icon on your desktop and Click it to open the program... - in the program window you will see the mod for install, click the enable JSGME buton and wayt for it to enable, when you see that the mod folder as changed from left to right inside the JSGME programe window is cause the Mod its installed, close JSGME window, and play the game! ================================== Manual Install - Unpack the 7z file into your desktop... - Open or explore the main mod folder and you will see inside it the 2 diferent options for this mod... - IMPORTANTE: Make a back up of the files you're overwriting or changing... - Just copy or drag and drop the data folder inside the mod version you chosen to, silent hunter III folder and overwrite when asked... - Play the game... Hope this is understandable...:arrgh!: |
