Well, "uncle George" (or RHN Georgios Averof - Pisa Class Armoured Cruiser, built in 1911) *is* actually escorting the Aden - Bombay convoys in GWX, but it is quite difficult to get there in 1942 (before the Penang Base and before an IXD/2 is available).
It would need a very determined Kaleun with an IXB from Lorient to pass through Gibraltar and Suez to get to the Arabian Sea. I think, I'll do it :rotfl:
Now, If you are really quick on your firs mission from Salamis you might catch a small TF from Alexandria to Port Said, with the Averof leading, while towing **********...oh, no I'm not going to ruin the surprises :rotfl:
