Of course it's just my opinion; I didn't even think SHII was an appropriate title, since to my mind Silent Hunter was the Pacific game and Aces Of the Deep was the U-boat game.

Of course I would love to see a good WWI sim. I just didn't think it fit into the Silent Hunter mold. If they did do a great WWI game and called it SH whatever, I would certainly buy and play it. A cold-war sim, on the other hand, I'm not even interested in...unless they let me drive the Nautilus under the North Pole and the Triton around the world.

...while starring at greenish waterfall displays for ages and listening to that "con-sonar, have a new contact, bearing blablabla" over and over again. Before Iīll put a foot aboard SSN Iīll rather play a "Waiting for the dentist" simualtion. Thatīs more fun because at least you get something to read and people usually donīt talk too much there.:up:

Massive Multiplayer ability
 
A massive multiplayer game enabling the Submarine side with flotilla's and players, an AI that can act as a fleet moderator, action moderator and SUBCOM that details situation. The ability to grow in the game and progress to better equipped subs. Real interactive WOLFPACK's.

A Destroyer command that assigns convoys and escorts vessels with a command ship, ASDIC CC board, ability to really search and engage the SUB commanders and destroy, damage. Something tru eto resources, speed, ie fuel, ammo, weather, damage...

Ocean Commanders...

Perhaps a game that interacts with a huge server that would allow interactive communication of models and game data based on geographic spheres....
