Oh, whatever.:D |
Following a recent upgrade and donating my old amd xp2800+ / geforce 6800gt / 1gb generic ram machine to SWMBO, after much thought I stuck with AMD...
- Athlon 64 X2 3800+ cpu - Asus M2N32-sli-dlx nforce590 PCI-E DDR2 (socket AM2) mobo. - Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TWINX ram. - Hiper HPU-4M670 TYPE-R 670W ATX2.2 psu. - Maxtor Diamondmax Plus 10 NCQ 250GB 6V250FO SATAII 16MB CACHE hd and an old 180gb drive as a backup. - BFG GEFORCE 7950GT OC 512MB GDDR3 HDTV/DUAL DVI PCI-E grafix card. It's not an uber setup, but it does leave me with some room for improvement over the next year or two; i.e more/better RAM, better cpu, that sli thing maybe. I thought about the conroe intel thing but decided to stick with amd as I'm familiar with their stuff . In total I spent roughly the same amount on this machine as I did almost 4 years ago on my original pc... so I'm happy with that. With any luck by the time I get around to buying SH4 and actually playing it (I'm suffering from a SH3 revival with TGW at the moment) the new stuff will not be too out of date  But I dare say with the sort of thing going on as viewed here I'm going to be **** out of luck anyway  then there's all this DX10 business and vista. I think I'll be staying with XPpro fow a good while yet. Where will it all end? |
AMD 64 bits Dual core 4200 with dual SLI 7900 GT
Waiting for SH 4 with great impatience :) |

Specs for the Enterprise:
ATi 9800 Pro 128 MB Athlon XP 3000+ 1GB RAM My computer used to be high-end when I got it 2 years ago, maybe except the CPU, but after a few minor upgrades and fixes, she's still my pride and joy. |
Jeeze some of you people really have hot rod computers and I'm jealous. :rotfl:
I've a 3 year old custom built "Alienware Aurora". XP Home, AMD Athlon XP 3200+ CPU, Asus A7N8X deluxe REV 2.0 Motherboard, Samsung 512 MB DDR PC3200 RAM X 2, Seagate Barracuda 120GB 8MB cache serial ATA Hard Drive, Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS 7.1 sound card, 500 watt power supply ( burned out a 420 watt orig. supply ). Replaced a BFG Nvidia FX 5900 Ultra 256MB AGP 8x ( 2.0 pixel support ) with the largest Nvidia Video card for this motherboard which won't support PCI-Express, is a Geforce 7800 GS OC 256 MB AGP 8X 3.0 pixel shader support. Might not be the best in the west but I'm sure gonna get my feet wet with SHIV. :yep: And to all you people with the "Making me jealous" computers I'm sicking my cat on you.http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...k47cat2hv1.gif JUST KIDDING. lol |
Dude I love that pic

No! Don't get Alienware!!!
I have: Pentium D 805 @ 3.8GHz 2x1GB G.SKILL, 3-3-3-9 @ 780MHz eVGA 7900GT @ 667/851 (faster than stock 7900GTX). |
Pentium cpu 3.00 ghz
2.00 gb of ram geforce 7300 le 5.1 surround speakers |
Since I'm running a 3 year old HP with only 250w,I use the FX5200. I'm not too concerned about the pixel shader since I suspect they will have 1.0 as the minimum spec, and if not I'll figure out a workaround for it.
While I would like to get a new pc,that is impossible right now due to serious health problems in my family. The money is needed for more important things at the moment. |
Oh, yes! I could not resist, so I ordered the Asus 7950GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express. (Bye, bye 1 month old 7900GS :rotfl:)
|
2.8 Ghz Pentium D Dual Core
1 Gig of RAM 7600GT Hopefully I'll be able to get by with this. PD |
I used to have a XFX 6800 GT 256 GDDR 2 AGP, but the other day it died, so i can't play sh3..nevermind GWX
So the card i have got now is The very powerfull Geforce MX440 LOL But i'm saving up for a BFG GeForce 7950 GT OC 512MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) Plus i'm also getting a BFG Ageia PhysX Accelerator  |
