Yes, Big Jugs/Brewster Pilot asked to be banned and have his posts removed. We didn't do that. He was back in two days asking for a new avatar :)

I understand your point. As far as I know, no one has been banned after one case of discussing piracy or mentioning it. In most cases, the post is edited and the warning is posted, plus a PM requesting that the person not bring up piracy, not brag about knowing where to download an illegal copy of the game, not to declare they have the game and did not pay for it, etc. In this case, Seth has been requested not to do this before. His previous case was borderline hacking, involving uploading X1 stuff onto a mods folder for anyone to download. That could get people in real legal trouble.


Seth is a good guy. No one wants to ban people, but we need to do what is necessary to keep the Subsim forums known as the place where serious, thoughtful, responsible gamers reside, not a hacker doods site.

I think this guy should be given another chance.

its against X1 who wherent supposed to make those expansion out of others people work. Most here on subsim are totally against X1, we are angry about that. some totally HATE X1. can you blame them? how would you feel if you invented something that you give away free and some cheap company takes it without permission and asks money for it.

Seth's actions where a little overated and out of the lines here on subsim and he sat for it.

Now he mentions :
