Sounds Great

Download completed - starting removal and reinstallation of base SH4, removing Save files, etc. Thanks for your terrific work!
Sounds as though my signature line is going to be more and more appropriate with this release.

Sometimes I wonder about the value of working on an 11 year old game that nobody plays. Then we publish a new version and all you people pop out of nowhere expressing your gratitude. You have no idea how much that motivates the FOTRSU team. You're the reason we do this.

Yes, we're borderline insane Compulsive Tweak Disorder mental patients, but from our straitjackets, if we could salute you, we would!:salute:

Excellent!
I am honored to be able to participate in FOTRS.:Kaleun_Cheers:

An Amazing Group !!

Kudos! To all of you folks and your hard work. :Kaleun_Thumbs_Up:

This is and has been the best SUBSIM repair/modification I have ever had the pleasure to play. Ever since I found SUBSIM.COM I have been playing your creations. I am looking forward to losing myself in the Pacific again.

Thanks and Thanks again!

Uhhhh... my right arm is free... My nice, white jacket sleeve is definitely a few inches too long, but I can salute. That little knot that the nice Nurse Ratched put in my right sleeve came undone. I wonder if she wants to come back and try it again, only tighter this time??... :har: :salute:

It might be 11 years old, but it's the newest and best Silent Service PTO dynamic campaign single player sub sim out there :Kaleun_Wink:

I'm quite rusty after so many years, can someone remind me if there is a 4GB patch for SH4? My museum keeps crashing (Though I know that is usual).

Yes, as a matter of fact, there is - right in the game folder after you activate the mod: "Large Address Aware2_0_4.exe"

The best thread for info on it is CapnScurvy's all-inclusive thread Windows10; Large Address Aware; SH4 Install, written specifically for Windows 10, but applicable to any 64-bit Windows version from Vista through the latest-not-so-greatest version...

If you've got a 32-bit version of Windows running on a 64-bit CPU, but more that 2 gig of RAM, you can use NT Core 4GB Patch on the SH4.exe and get a bit more "breathing" room for the program - it will not work on the older 32-bit cpu cores, like the old Pentiums... :salute:

It can also be found in the Extras folder that comes with the 0.71 Beta release. :D
