My take on is this.
I think LSH3-2015 is an underestimated mega mod.
The combination of game play settings,mods,HSIE, and SH3Commander gives the gamer a variable choice of difficulty levels when combining these different components.

Yes! For the first time, I can go on patrol again. SH3 has been an anchor for me in my life. It is like comfort food! :haha:

I wish I could find the enigma program that is somewhere on the :subsim: site, and I've even considered joining the Donitz elite group.

Yes, that's exactly what I was reffering too. I have downloaded it and have also realized it will take a bit too understand it I suppose the allies thought the same thing!

Is there a mod that removes the lockes in the Keil canal? I was just destroyed by a closing locke, and I am tired of waiting on them to open and close.

Do not enable this mod_LSH3-2015__BunkerStart.
If this does not work use the lock to the far left as it is easier to navigate.
You do not need to use the locks when returning to Wilhelmshaven as you can Dock before reaching the locks.

@SpruenceM Hasn't LSH3-2015-COMMANDER the option to start your patrol on sea or is this option not working with LSH2015?

It works fine, I am just based in Keil, and I either have too go North too past Denmark or through the Keil canal. The start at sea will drop me north of Keil, I just have too burn quite a bit of fuel passing Denmark.

But I have not played since I was killed by the locke. I should do a patrol in a day or too, and I figured I would set the next time in port for 2 months. I've already been promoted too kaptainlieutenant, and decorated three times, so I'm sure that the High Command won't mind me taking a couple of months on a tour of defeated Poland, and dropping in too the other port yards too see the VIIc that is about too come online. :) Kiel is the worst base imo, I'm just waiting for France too fall.

You could change your flotilla. The other one is in wilhelmshaven i think. You do that via the phone in your office.

Submarine data can be found in the > main game folder\submarine\submarine type then select the cfg file.

When/How Do I Get a New Boat
 

Alright, maybe I'm just blind as a bat or incredibly stupid, or maybe I'm just impatient.

I installed the mod. Everythign went just fine. All the units are there. The graphics (especially the effects) are gorgeous. Everything seems to be working just as it should.

Except for the simple fact that I can't upgrade my u-boat. I'm at Lorient. It's June of 1941, and I'm still saddled with this VIIB I've had since 1939. I mean it's a great boat and all...such a great boat that its given me enough renown to buy like 10 uboats; which I'd do were they showing up *anywhere* in any menu. The only thing I have is the tech tree, which indicates that I should have one by now.


Am I seriously missing something? Everything else is working perfectly, so what did I manage to screw?
