Pence is deluded.

Sounds like you've been absorbing Russian propaganda Em.

How does a supposedly "nazi" nation elect a Jew like Zelenski as their president? We have more swastika wearing fascists running around here in the states than Ukraine ever did and in neither case are those nuts running the government. As for corruption, yeah the Ukes have a past president that THEY have brought charges against for corruption, but then again so do we right?

We need to help the Ukrainians because they are a good and decent people yearning for freedom, who are slowly being overrun by the cruel armies of a genocidal Russian maniac that deliberately rapes and massacres civilians and steals their children as slaves. We need to do it because nobody else can and more importantly because helping the weak defend themselves again the strong is the right thing to do. It used to be the American way.

I don't for a moment believe the nazi narrative unless of course we're associating national socialism with Russia. Ukraine is fighting for their independence & sovereignty and as someone who lives in a country that had a similar battle a couple of hundred years ago I can highly respect, support and admire Ukrainian tenacious endeavors. But IMO Ukraine does have some serious issues involving corruption of the type barely surpassed by Russia. However, I think Ukraine is making remarkable gains in a few short years ridding themselves of the soviet era mentality. More than I can say about Germany that's for damn sure.

I said it before I'll say it again if Ukraine can pull it together and win, they deserve a place in NATO.

Democrats receive federal funding when they declare themselves a sanctuary city and States like Texas and Florida receive federal funding to ship immigrants to their cities. Then stupid idiotic Democrats threaten lawsuits after immigrants are shipped to their cities. When does it end?

Typical bleeding heart Democrat voting for open borders, just don’t ship them to their neighborhoods. :har:

Latest Democrat stupidity.

California threatens legal action over migrant flights

https://news.yahoo.com/california-th...234056529.html

Quote:

California Governor Gavin Newsom appeared to threaten his Florida counterpart Ron DeSantis with kidnapping charges Monday, as a second planeload of migrants arrived via private jet in state capital Sacramento.

The confrontation comes after DeSantis -- a rising Republican star and potential presidential candidate in 2024 -- has pursued a policy of flying migrants to Democratic-controlled states, in protest at President Joe Biden's immigration policies.

Last September, DeSantis arranged and paid for nearly 50 migrants to fly from Texas to Martha's Vineyard, a wealthy resort island in the northeastern state of Massachusetts.

While Florida officials have not commented on the two recent flights to Sacramento, California officials said some of the migrants were carrying documentation "purporting to be from the government of the State of Florida."

"@RonDeSantis you small, pathetic man," tweeted Newsom on Monday.

"This isn't Martha's Vineyard. Kidnapping charges?" he added, including a screenshot of California's legal code on kidnapping.

The first planeload of more than a dozen migrants, originally from Colombia and Venezuela, arrived in Sacramento on Friday.

They had crossed the United States border into Texas and were transported to New Mexico before boarding a plane.

California Attorney General Rob Bonta said his office was "evaluating potential criminal or civil action against those who transported or arranged for the transport of these vulnerable immigrants."

"State-sanctioned kidnapping is not a public policy choice, it is immoral and disgusting," he said in a statement.

PICO California, a faith-based group helping the migrants, said the group did not know they were being taken to California, and had been approached by people offering them jobs.

A second planeload of around 20 migrants, mainly from Venezuela, arrived in Sacramento on Monday, the New York Times reported.

You're right. Insane. I clearly remember each Dem eagerly thrusting their hands up at the debate when asked if they would support illegal aliens with tax dollars; housing, healthcare, etc. Now they whine about 50 illegals being flown to their paradise. Freaking typical liberal hypocrisy.

This is what constitutes a bizarre rant in mainstream media

OMG he wants some debate! Better throw him in the Buffalo man's empty jail cell. :har: What a traitor! :har:

Do they have a chance ?

Those Rep. Candidate, who shall try to beat the former President ?

From what I know he's very popular among the Rep. voters and even the members.

Are people that self absorbed as Schopenhauer says they are? I would say yes, just read anything written in the political or climate change threads

Yeah they have a chance Markus but they are definitely fighting an uphill battle.

Once chance is that Trump might be in prison by this time next year. We've been promised this repeatedly but so far the Dems have come up short.

One thing that doesn't help the others is the size of the candidate field. With what 6 candidates now?, that splits the non Trump vote and could give him the nomination with as little as 17% of the total.

For once I am hoping the Dems come through and Trump lands in jail, thus sitting out the primary. Of course, knowing Trump, he'll run as a 3rd party from Sing Sing. Sad thing is, knowing the Trump supporters, they'll vote for him. :wah:

Rockstar 06-08-23 02:12 PM

Frankly I think there’s more than just ‘Dems’ who want Trump to sit this one out. I don’t believe he’s going to jail though. Especially since there hasn’t been any proof of wrong doing, it’s just been one accusation after another, after another, after another etc. etc. for over six years.

I’m thinking what we are seeing is an attempt to tarnish his reputation so bad that any donors left will abandon ship and tire out voters to the point they never want to hear his name mentioned ever again.

But to send a sitting or former president to jail just to prevent him from running is dangerous, then why bother voting?

We are not sending anyone to jail. We are merely wishing that a plausible scenario works out in what would be the nations favor.

If I were to hope that meteor falls out of the sky and flattens Biden is that a dangerous disincentive to voting too?
