Opposite poles in this instance which actually repel one another.

Why don't you butt out of it Maybot and let them get on with it. They don't need you rushing over to NI holding press conferences like some kind of control freak.

Jimbuna 02-14-18 06:38 AM

^ There lies the problem, both sides are refusing to 'get on with it' and this has been going on for thirteen months now, hence NI is currently being run by civil servants.

Soon the clown will hold centre stage and sort out all the Brexit fears

Boris Johnson is attempting to reassure voters who are angry and alienated by Brexit that the UK's split from the EU is a cause for "hope not fear".

The foreign secretary is using a speech to try to build bridges with those who voted to remain in the EU, saying their belief in European solidarity is based on "noble sentiments".

No big fan of politicians despite my 'insider' experiences and acquaintances over past years but who else would run the country?

I was positively underwhelmed by the speech and doubt there was much if anything at all in it that surprised anyone.

Catfish 02-14-18 10:22 AM

Theresa May is due to hold talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel as she seeks to make progress on negotiating Brexit.

The PM will travel to Berlin for the meeting at the Chancellery.

It comes a day ahead of a speech on Saturday in which she is expected to set out the "security partnership" she wants to maintain with the EU.

I wonder if during the course of this meeting May will take the opportunity to say "Well, now you know what it feels like" :)

STEED 02-17-18 08:15 AM

Will it be the end of old bed banger Henry as he faces a vote of no confidence at UKIP's EGM this weekend. :hmmm:

Bookies say...YES.

Even those within the party now think the party is over. :ping:

Jimbuna 02-17-18 09:14 AM
