Cameron has just announced on live tv that there will be no more defence budget cuts and went on to say that contrary to popular belief regarding the scrapping of the two carriers currently on the building stocks we have just ordered the latest Swiss design as the viable alternative.

The question remains though...are we buying one or two? :hmm2:

“Now, that doesn’t mean that you can’t cut people’s taxes...You can do exciting and radical and Conservative things at the same time as having difficult overall spending choices.”

I'm beginning to wonder if there'll be anyone working by 2020 to benefit from these 'Conservative things' :hmm2:

There will be lots of highly paid management working on privatised government contracts with the rest of the workforce being made up of unemployed people getting "valuable" work experience doing the jobs they used to be employed in.
Revenue will be a bit of a problem as the "productive" management wouldn't want their income hit too much and the "workers" wouldn't be getting hit by income tax as their "wage" is the dole.
This can be remedied by extending and increasing VAT and extra duty to all essentials like bread and water(come to think of it since privatisation you already get heavily taxed for water don't you).

I did hear that in the search for a source of revenue they are thinking of a new tax on die-cast models.

George Osborne needs to give up being the Tory strategy chief and concentrate on running the ailing economy, ex-chancellor Lord Lawson has said.
That would have sounded better from Ed.

Forget that, the public is small fry.
The British Chamber of Commerce has followed the Confederation of British Industry and the Federation of Small Businesses in calling Osborne an clueless idiot.
It shows how far gone the tories are when their traditional core are turning on them
