Extra skins for U-boats would be nice just like in Sh3. And ability to lower the flag. In KSD II it's possible.
And btw Why do we have option for 10.5 cm deck gun on VIIB?

Ehm i mean the guy at the "steering wheel"
On the U.S. side he is in the tower. I am not quite sure of how it is on the german side, I read something about they are also steering from the tower, but when the boat is submerged the guy who is steering is about where the 1st officer stands, like front and center of the control room, like in SH5.

Ok i see...i think German side they all were in the command room, surfaced or submerged :yep:
Anyway it’s not in the plans now...still errors to correct.

Speaking about errors, I WILL RELEASE AN OTHER UPDATE FIX VERY SOON (MIGHT BE TOMORROW)
I found attack periscope error introduced by my latest update :oops:
Type VII involved: VIIC 2/3/4 (1943 to the end)
Just because i changed those periscope to skip the too white rendering...sorry about that.

Plus i greatly enhanced the exhaust smoke on all U-Boats :up:
Plus i changed type VIIC deck compass for better ones :up:

Be available tomorrow i think.

I wanted to mention the exhaust smoke but you were faster. I noticed that you barely take any hull damage. Most of the time the bulkheads are just destroyed.

UPDATE 6 IS OUT!
(see end of post #1) SHOULD BE SAVE COMPATIBLE WITH 5B...

As bonus, i added some white smoke to fires :up:

- New exhaust smoke has been added to all U-Boats
- Attack Periscope for all type VIIC has been fixed
- Cables texture for VIIC types adjusted
- Wood panels texture for type VIIC3 has been adjusted (they were all black)
- Fire rendering has been adjusted
- Smoke rendering has been adjusted
- Small white smoke added to fires

Yes probably...so many cool stuff everywhere :haha:
More seriously, i can’t do everything alltogether.
Right now, i have managed to re-work completely the smoke when ships in fire :yep:
Plenty things were missing in the Particules.dat, and some errors too...
More testing tomorrow, with certainly some screen shots to come :Kaleun_Cheers:

Damages are controlled by the .zon file in each Sub folder.
There is a Zones.cfg in the Data folder.

A quick look shows me you have zones meant for Fleet boats.
Those differ from zones for U-Boats.

There is also a DMG 3D mesh in the Stock Subs. You might want to look at those.

Yes my friend, but dunno how the zonesCtrl values works yet...
What’s a sphere? Boxes? ...some have few Spheres some have none :06:
And the meaning of ArmorLevel value...quite foggy for me right now :D

About the DMG 3D, there were some in the subs i’ve Imported ...but giving CTDs each time we were hitted...and had to delete them to avoid CTD.
Best would be to re-create them from scratch, but it’s far from my 3D skills actually.
Anyway it’s only about visual damage looking on sub when hitted?...i think we can live without it for the moment :yep:
