I was told in another thread that I should also post it here. Our heavy rain is now heavy snow, and it's just below freezing.

39F today and I was out cutting run off ditches for the driveway. Tuesday I am in North Bay all day, Wednesday and Thursday I'll be in Newmarket, ON for prestartup meetings. Then back home for another month or so.
Once the snow goes, I am gonna be a busy boy. I got a shed to tear down, a new platform for the new shed to put up, the genny to put in the new shed and wire into the house. Lights to install on the tractor, more lights to install on the Jeep and the list just goes on....

Yesterday we had some of that nasty sleet and freezing rain and snow overnight. Looking for a high today of 49, so I'm not going to bother with removing the crud from my truck. Momma Nature can do it. :O:

Another storm today. This is the 5th straight school day without classes. Can't remember the last time that happened.

Trouble is that the school districts will just add on an extra 5 days to the school year. :(

Our kids are going on Saturdays, lose 3 days of spring break and have several days added in June to make up.

There is a loophole there for the Saturday schooling. Jewish kids can't work on Saturdays. It is the Sabbath.

I got something today that I haven't had since last year...

Fresh air coming in my window. The birds are all out there singing for this years spouse and prepping for nesting.
I'm not going to declare winter 13/14 over just yet. But, here's hoping.:D

ReallyDedPoet 04-01-14 05:33 PM

Just got power back after about a day and half without it. The whole family
smells a little better as a result :D:D
