Your idea looks good Capt Jack Harkness, I really do not know much about it, I think all this is linked to the files. gr2, which now are beginning to manipulate. SteelViking with other people, have hours of work on these files. gr2 and know that soon may adjust these indicators as close to reality

:oI have researched hours and hours online, looking for pictures and information, to make some changes in the textures on these indicators, but as you know, most of this information or photos from museums and pages dedicated to this. :damn:I have several pictures of these indicators, both as voltmeters and ammeters are very varied, you can not say exactly if they really are those corresponding to the type of submarine.

:)But at the end of all this and what is sought is to give some realism this simulator...

Wow, nozaurio! Nice work on those gauges.:yeah: I would love to include your work in the next version of the mod, with credit given for it of course.:yep:

I can make the gauges behave like how Capt Jack Harkness is suggesting. The gauges are controlled through the .sim files for the corresponding room. I like the idea, and I think I will go ahead and make the necessary changes for V1.3 of the mod. Doing so will be a very easy task.

Otherwise Ill just have to uninstall it and cant use it.

Cheers,

Ren

If this mod is causing you to have FPS drop, I would recommend the D3D anti-lag fix. Here it is in JSGME format, just load it up like any other mod, and see if it does not help you. I swear by this thing.

:)Thanks SteelViking is a pleasure to be part of this project.

I am sending two files for your mail. dds, which are two combinations of ammeter and voltmeter.

You review it and correct any errors that have ...

This is another gauge that just finished, this is in one of the files I am sending.

Unfortunately I have already tried the antilag, and doesn't change anything. Still too slow when using this mod, but if i use stock sub interior or ailwhiteinterior it works fine. Any other ways of speeding up fps using this mod?

Cheers, ren

Aha! So with this guage we should see the needle pointing somewhere to the right, corresponding to motor output when submerged, then when charging the batteries the needle should be all the way to the left. Is that possible with SH5's gauge programming?

nozaurio 10-04-10 12:33 PM

:)If Capt Jack Harkness, this gauge works unlike the others, apart from the needle must be at zero, which is not a gauge side as is common.

:DLI see this will be a challenge for SteelViking ...

:-?Complete other gauge, which is an ammeter, this is another gauge of the set that used the submarine, the simulator puts unfortunately only two of these current meters, but we can choose who we see fit.

Oooh, I don't know if the controllers can be set to make that gauge work. But, now that I have seen it, I want it.:arrgh!: I will definetly play around with the .sim file to see if I can cook something up. I can't make any promises though.

You are welcome. Glad to have you onboard:salute:

Your work on those gauges is very high quality.:yep: I have done a few little touch ups on them, but nothing major. Great job:up:

Yes. Some of the textures in my mod have increased resolution over the stock textures. What you want to do, is this. Disable the all interior mods, go into the game folder, and find data/Textures/TNormal/tex/various_books_posters_maps.dds, copy it. Now go to the same folder inside my interior mod in the MODS folder. You will find two files with a name very similar to the one you just copied(one will actually match it). Delete both of those files, and then paste the copied file into the folder. Last step, change the name of the pasted file to various_books_postera_maps.dds, all that needs changed is posters to postera.

Then re-enable the mod. Hopefully that will solve your problem as those files account for the biggest boost in resolution in the whole mod. Keep in mind, that you will be losing some content from the mod by doing this(only graphical stuff, you will not lose any functionality). If this does not work, I have some other ideas that could help, but they will also cause content to be lost from the mod.

nozaurio 10-04-10 09:20 PM

:03:SteelViking Thanks, I have some ideas that I will share with you for this wonderful simulation more realistic.

:up:I hope to be able to manage these gauges, I know you're exploring uncharted territory, but with the support of all do a good job ...

I send you files again CR7_cadrane, because I made some adjustments on the lines of those which were not to scale, add two separate gauges for you to check ...

Another thing I saw was the indicator lights of the torpedo tubes.

:damn:I made the changes to add to the simulator, but they were not good. Not looking good transparency, it is working with Alpha and textures with these files I do not know XXXXX_N.dds, :hmmm:I appreciate if I can explain how these files are created!

Really brings SH5 originally do not have any realistic
