He couldn't very well surface right next to that Hospital Ship, tip his white cap at them and go: "guten Tag, Frauleins, let me invite you all on board my Boat and take you away from all zis Krieg, Ja?"

They'd just point and laugh while some cheeky chappy in a Corvette depthcharged him to kingdom come...

Much more efficient this way...though admittedly he must have been at sea a while to get that desperate :D

The after picture doesn't look that good. The rain doesn't have any depth.
You should add some fog, and put some "sharp" rain on top of that rain you've put.

Then it would look nice

Seeing all these pictures i cant help but ask.... are these from a mod? I cant remember smoke and water effects like that in sh3. I also thought lifeboats were SH4 only. Were these things all added in the grey wolves mod?
